About Me

My name is Mr. Pappadackis, I teach 8th Grade Global Studies, 9th grade Human Geography, 10th grade A.P. U.S. History, & 12th grade Civics.

I am originally from Sioux City, Iowa and am an alumni of Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota. I am currently working on my Masters degree in American History and Government with an emphasis in the Constitution. I was awarded the 2020 James Madison Fellowship for the State of Minnesota.

I am married to beautiful woman named Joslyn and we have two boys named Levi and Lincoln and a daughter, Eila. We enjoy watching Netflix movies, taking walks with our kids, playing outside, and just enjoying being a family.

I am passionate about students, learning, history, and how they all interrelate in our daily lives. Particularly how our Constitution and the founding era is still very relevant to our daily lives. I became a teacher to try and pass on that joy of learning about the past and how it relates to our current lives. I hope to instill a passion for live long learning as well as have an enjoyable classroom experience.

When I am not teaching school, I enjoy watching any of the Minnesota Sports Teams. My favorite sport to watch is baseball. However, my obsession is talking about and playing disc golf. I am an avid disc golfer and have even been dabbling in competing in a a few tournaments around the Midwest. Ask me sometime to play a round with you.
