Power High 3
Kitsu climbed out of bed, exhausted from the previous day's events. He grabbed some clothes out of his dresser and walked into the bathroom to take a shower. As he let the water splash over his body, he began thinking to himself.
"I actually built a robot. I can hardly believe I pulled it off. To bad I had to destroy him like that. Wait a minute, I did it once, who's to say I can't pull it off again! I've got it. I'm going to build another one, but this one will be even better".
Kistu walked out of the shower and got dressed, excited about his new idea. Without even saying hello to his roommates, he bolted towards the mechanics lab. He saw Bekutoru on the way. Kitsu grabbed him and dragged him to the mechanics lab as well. When they arrived, Bekutoru was very confused.
"Kitsu, are you okay? What's the rush?" he asked.
"I just got a brilliant idea. We're making another robot." Kitsu replied.
What! No way, not after what happened with Nijuushin." Bekutoru said.
"Don't worry, no weapons on this one. Just program an AI for me. More specifically, one that will have no knowledge of what it really is, almost like an amnesia victim. Oh yea, and try to make it somewhat feminine in nature. Think you're up to it?" Kistu asked.
"I still don't like the sound of this, but oh well, I might as well. It won't be packing any heat so what's the worst that can happen." Bekutoru replied.
Bekutoru walked back to his room to work on the AI while Kitsu stayed in the lab. He began building the core mechanics, the joints and inner body structure. He worked all night and finished the core framework of the robot.
Bekutoru walked in to the lab to find Kitsu sound asleep over the robot. He walked over to Kitsu and gave him a nudge.
"Hey Kitsu, time to wake up." Bekutoru said.
"Huh? What? Where am I?" Kistu asked.
"I guess you fell asleep while working on this thing. It's already past noon. I think you should go take a break from this."
"No, I am going to finish this before the start of classes. Once classes start I might never find the time to finish this project. How is the AI coming?"
"It's coming along really well actually. Should be done in two days tops."
"Alright, that will be my deadline as well then. We will put this thing together in two days."
Kitsu started working on the robot again, making the more detailed and minute mechanics. He began screwing together different parts and welding them into place. Piece by piece, Kitsu assembled the robot. He began welding together segments of pipe together into a long winding tube and put them into place. He constructed a few more mechanisms and put them into place, the last of which being a small self-perpetuating engine, mimicing the beating of a heart. He then began to work on the outer structure and the face. He put a lot of time into the shape of the robot, trying to make it as realistic as possible. He worked all day on it and all of the mechanics were just about finished. All that was left to do was work on the exterior appearance.
Kitsu finished up for the night and walked back to room 502. As he walked in everyone stared at him.
"Where were you last night?" Anei asked.
"Just working on a project in the lab. Fell asleep while I was working." Kitsu said.
"What are you working on anyway? Now I'm curious." Waza said.
"It's another robot actually." Kitsu replied.
The two of them stared at Kitsu in shock.
"What are you thinking! Do you want to get everyone killed?" they both yelled.
"I had a feeling you were going to say something like that. Don't worry, I left off the heavy artillery. It won't be able to do more than a normal person would. Everything is going to be fine." Kitsu said.
"I hope you're right." Anei said.
"What could possibly go wrong? I need some rest, I'm exhausted. Good night guys." Kitsu said as he climbed into bed.
The next morning he woke up and immediately went down to the lab. Kitsu Began working on the outer appearance, wrapping the inner mechanics in a thin, rubbery substance. Once that was done, he began working on the hair, trying many different styles and colors until he found what worked. He gave her long, blonde hair, and then lined the hair with a translucent lining that absorbed energy from the sun. He continued working on the appearance for hours, making sure everything was perfect. He looked at her eyes, making sure they were the right shade of blue, made sure her pseudo-skin was adjusted correctly, and made a few other last minute additions. When he was finished, he grabbed an old uniform from back when the school required them and put it on her.
"Perfect. This came out better than I thought, now I just need the AI from Bekutoru and she will be finished." Kitsu thought.
Kitsu looked everything over for a few minutes until Bekutoru arrived.
"Here is the AI. Where do i put the chip?" he asked.
"Right here, just under the hairline in the back of her neck." Kitsu replied.
He plugged the chip in, and suddenly electricity began to surge through her body. Her hair began to turn blue as the AI began to take hold. She sat up and looked around.
"Where am I? And who am I? I don't remember a thing." She said.
"You had a bit of a fall down the stairs. I guess it must have caused you to lose your memory. You are in the mechanics lab. Your name is Meisaku, you just transferred in the other day. I'm Kitsu and this is Bekutoru." Kitsu said.
"Nice to meet you both." she replied.
"Exactly how realistic did you make her anyway?" Bekutoru whispered to Kitsu.
"I went all out. She is no different from any normal girl, aside from the fact that she is all mechanics rather than biological." Kitsu replied.
"That isn't exactly what I meant but okay." Bekutoru replied.
"Listen, give her a tour around campus. I'm going to go talk to the administrator about finding a place for her to stay." Kitsu said as he ran off.
Kitsu made his way to the administrator's office. He walked in and took a seat in front of the massive desk.
"Ah, Kitsu. What brings you here?" the administrator said.
"I've built another robot, and I was wondering...." Kitsu began.
"You WHAT!? Are you trying to destroy the school Kitsu? What are you thinking!?" the administrator said in a panic as he pulled out a shotgun from under his desk.
"Don't worry, there are no weapons on this one, it's just like a normal student, but mechanical rather than biological." Kitsu replied.
"Oh, that's a relief. What were you going to ask me again?" the administrator said as he slowly hid the shotgun.
"Well, she needs a place to stay, and since you would know what rooms are available..." Kitsu began.
"I can have a bed moved in so she can stay with you. She IS your creation after all." the administrator said.
"That would be perfect. Thank you." Kitsu said as he got up and left.
He walked around the 5th floor in search of Bekutoru and Meisaku. He finally found them by room 523, the old computer lab. Kitsu approached them.
"Okay, I have a place for you to stay." Kitsu said.
"Oh, where?" Meisaku asked.
"Room 502, same room as me actually." Kitsu replied.
"I guess I should go get my things then. Where did I put them?" Meisaku said.
"Uh oh. Didn't think this through well enough. This could be a problem, since she doesn't HAVE anything. I've gotta think of something quick." Kitsu thought.
"I'll show you." Bekutoru said as he lead her downstairs.
Kitsu breathed a sigh of relief as he saw Boruto carrying a bed through the hall. He opened the door and walked into room 502. Kitsu walked in and went into the bathroom. He noticed the mirror was fogged up, but he was alone. Kitsu felt a sudden chill as he felt something grab him. He heard a voice whispering into his ear. It was calling his name.
"I am officially wierded out now. Who are you and what do you want?" Kitsu said.
A beautiful woman appeared in front of him. She had long blonde hair, falling at her thigh, and wore a long nightgown. She gazed at him lustfully with her wide green eyes. She licked her lips, and then began to approach Kitsu.
"You remind me so much of my past love. He is long gone now though, graduated a long time ago. He was a technological wiz, much like yourself." she said.
Kitsu started to back away.
"Don't run, I don't bite. Not unless you want me to at least." she said slyly.
"What are you?" Kitsu asked in a panic.
"My name is Yuurei. I have been watching you since you arrived at this school. I've been waiting for someone like you. I've been so lonely without him. I guess it's time to move on though, now that you're here anyway." she said as she moved in closer to Kitsu.
The bathroom door swung open and Yuurei vanished.
"Hey man, what's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost." Miwaku said.
"I'll be right back, I have to take care of something." Kitsu said as he rushed out of the room.
He ran downstairs and as he turned the corner, plowed right into Meisaku. She fell to the ground, dropping a pile of old school uniforms Bekutoru had somehow convinced her she owned. Kitsu stopped to help her pick up the clothes.
"Sorry about that. I'm in a bit of a hurry." Kitsu said.
"Thats alright. Thanks for the help." she replied.
Kitsu ran off down the hall.
"I wonder what got into him all of a sudden." Bekutoru said.
Kitsu made his way to the administrator's office and bolted through the door.
"Kitsu, what wrong? You look terrified." the administrator replied.
"Do you have any records of someone named Yuurei?" Kitsu asked.
"Let me check. This could take a while though, and why the sudden interest in past students?" the administrator asked.
"I just need to know." Kitsu replied urgently.
"It might take a few days, since I have no clue what year she is." the administrator said.
"Was, what year she was." Kitsu said.
"I think there is something you aren't telling me." the administrator said.
"Just try to find the name as quickly as possible." Kitsu said.
"I'll see what I can do." the administrator replied.
Kitsu walked out of the room. He made his way back up to 502 and lied down. It was only 4:30, and everyone was out eating or visiting friends. Kitsu began to feel a sudden chill. As he rolled over to pull the blanket over him, he saw Yuurei lying next to him.
"What? How did you? What are you doing here!?" Kitsu said in a panic and amazement.
"Why are you so surprised? I am a ghost, after all, or did I forget to mention that?" Yuurei replied.
"This is really creeping me out, I mean, you being in my bed and all." Kitsu said, a bit annoyed.
"You're no fun. I was really hoping you'd be more interested. Lighten up a bit." Yuurei said as she put her hand on his cheek.
"I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I don' think this is going to work out." Kitsu replied.
"What do you mean?" Yuurei asked.
"Well, I'm living, and you are dead. It's just not going to work out." Kitsu said as he slowly inched towards the edge of the bed.
"I can change that." Yuurei said slyly.
"What, you're going to revive yourself or something......oh wait." Kitsu said.
Yuurei gave him a sly grin.
Kistu jumped out of bed. Yuurei stared at him with a crazed look in her eyes. Her white nightgown blackened as it opened into a long cape. Beneath it was a skintight black suit. She grew fangs and walked towards him, glowing with a dark magical aura. Kitsu began to back away. She began to laugh maniacally, the aura beginning to grow. She lunged in at Kitsu. He dove out of the way and bolted for the door. Yuurei appeared in front of him and lifted him up by his collar.
"It's been so long since I've felt this way." she said as she pulled him closer to her, her fangs seeming to grow larger by the minute.
"What? No! This is so wrong on so many levels!" Kitsu protested as he tried to break free.
"not to me, lover boy, now pucker up!" she said lustfully.
She pulled Kitsu into her and their lips met.
Meanwhile, Bekutoru continued showing Meisaku around the school. They made their way up the stairs towards room 502. Just then Bekutoru realized he forgot to show Meiwaku the dining hall. He took her back downstairs to the third floor.
Kitsu was looking around, surprised that he wasn't dead. He looked into Yuurei's eyes, her fingers still tightly gripping his collar.
"You aren't half bad at this Kitsu. I'm not surprised though, it's not the first time you kissed a girl." Yuurei said with a smirk.
"I'm still....alive?" Kitsu said a bit confused.
"Of course you are. What, you thought I was going to kill you? That wouldn't have solved anything. I'll be seeing you around." Yuurei said as she faded away.
Kitsu climbed back into bed, feeling safe for the moment, and fell asleep. He awoke to the administrator's voice calling to him over the PA. He looked at his clock. It was 7:00 PM. Kitsu climbed out of bed and sleepily made his way down towards the administrator's office. He opened the door and sat down in front of the desk.
"I found some information about Yuurei for you. I knew I had heard that name somewhere before. She was in the graduating class of 1800. She was killed before graduation day, and the culprit was never found. She had some amazing abilities though. She could create and control elemental objects with her mind alone." the administrator said.
"English please?" Kitsu said a bit confused.
"She was a sorceress, so to speak. She had a bit of a mischievous side to her though. Actually, it was a bit more than mischievous. She had a bit of a bloodlust. She didn't need blood to survive, but had more of an addiction to it. She was an odd one, that's for sure. Why did you ask about her in the first place anyway?" the administrator asked.
"Well, her ghost is roaming the school." Kitsu said.
"Oh really? How come I haven't heard this until now? Why hasn't she appeared before? I wonder." the administrator thought.
"Well, you see, she...."Kitsu paused for a moment, realizing what he was about to say.
"She what? Spit it out already Kitsu." the administrator said.
"It seems like I'm the only one who has seen her." Kitsu said, eyes darting around the room.
"I find this a bit hard to believe but you have done so much for this school already. It seems unlikely you would lie about something like this. I'll see what I can do for you." the administrator said.
"Thank you. I am going to head back to my room now. I have to see how Meisaku is doing." Kitsu said as he walked out the door.
The administrator picked up the phone. It rang a few times, then stopped.
"Ryoushi, we have a bit of a problem over here. It's Yuurei." The administrator said.
Kitsu made his way back to room 502. When he opened the door, he was surprised no one had returned yet. Yuurei appeared in front of him again. The door shut behind him.
"Hey Kitsu. I think I might need your help with something. Would you mind giving me a hand?" she asked sweetly.
"What are you planning? I hope this isn't just some scheme to kill me." Kitsu said.
"No, it's not. You see, I can only access a fraction of my power at the moment, so I can't kill you anyway. The most I can do is maybe stun you for a few seconds, but that's about it." she replied.
"Fine, what do you need me to do?" Kitsu said reluctantly.
"I need you to help me lift this damn curse. It's restraining my powers. There should be a magic symbol somewhere on my body, my earthly body that is. That is what is sealing my powers. I know where he hid my body, but I cant reach it thanks to the magic barrier around its resting place. Will you help?" she pleaded.
"Give me some time to think about it." Kitsu said, a bit confused.
"Maybe this will help you decide." Yuurei said as she floated closer to Kitsu.
She put her arms around him and pulled him close to her. She began kissing his neck. Kitsu started to push away.
"Could you please stop doing that, it's creepy. I mean, you're a ghost!" Kitsu said quite annoyed.
"Fine, have it your way..." Yuurei said a bit disappointed.
"Just give me some time to think. I can't even begin to imagine how powerful you were at full strength, so I'm not sure if helping you would be the best idea..." Kitsu said.
"Alright. Just think about it for a while. I can wait." Yuurei said as she faded away.
Kitsu walked around the halls looking for Meisaku. He finally found her down the hall from the administrator's office.
"Hey Meisaku. Ready to head back up to the room now?" Kitsu asked.
"Were you just trying to hit on me Kitsu?" Meisaku asked.
"What? No, I didn't mean it that way!" Kitsu said, a bit embarrassed.
"It's not like you can reproduce anyway..." Kitsu thought to himself.
Kitsu and Meisaku walked up the stairs towards room 502. They walked in, and as Kitsu expected, no one was back yet. He sat down on his bed while Meisaku began putting her clothes in one of the dressers. Kitsu looked at his clock, which read 10:20 PM.
"I wonder where everyone is. What happened to Bekutoru by the way?" Kitsu asked.
"I don't know. He was standing right next to me one minute and was gone the next." she replied.
"This is really weird. I'm going to go talk to the administrator about this. I'll be right back." Kitsu said.
Kitsu left the room and as he made his way down the hall, he heard Meisaku scream. Kitsu bolted back to room 502 to check on her. When he opened the door, he saw Yuurei rubbing her jaw in pain.
"Damn, what the hell is she? That really hurt." Yuurei said.
"Wait, did you just try to bite her?" Kitsu asked a bit confused.
"Yea.....about that......" Yuurei began.
"First off, she is a robot." Kitsu said.
"Why didn't you tell me that sooner!? Might as well explain myself. You see, it has been really hard for me to control my blood lust. It is a bit of an addiction you see." Yuurei said.
"So, would you have anything to do with why everyone is gone?" Kitsu said.
"No, they're all at some sort of assembly in the courtyard."
"Oh, I see. Anyway, one thing I still don't understand. If you've been watching me all this time, how come you didn't know Meisaku was a robot?"
"Remember how I mentioned a magical barrier around my earthly body? Apparently my body is in the mechanics lab. If you come across it could you please help me out?" Yuurei asked.
"Let me sleep on it." Kitsu replied.
"Okay, I've got all the time in the world, really. Just let me know if you find it." Yuurei said.
Kitsu climbed into bed and turned off the light. He looked over to see Yuurei still hovering over him.
"I'm going to go to sleep now, so if you don't mind......" Kitsu said.
"Oh, right. Sorry about that. You just remind me so much of my past love." she replied with a smile, putting her hand on his cheek.
Kitsu pulled away. Yuurei faded away, frowning in dissapointment.
Kitsu woke up the next morning, and everyone was in their beds, fast asleep. An announcement came over the PA system.
"The band Hunting Hell has decided to pay our school a visit, giving a promotional concert! The show will start at 5:00 PM." the administrator said. The announcement ended with a click. Everyone began getting excited about the concert. Kitsu got out of bed and walked to the bathroom. The mirror fogged up and Yuurei appeared to him looking very worried.
"Kitsu, you have to help me get my powers back. Without them I'm done for." she said in a panic.
"Why is it so urgent all of a sudden?" Kitsu replied.
"Hunting Hell coming here on such short notice could only mean one thing. He knows I'm here." she said, almost starting to cry.
"Who knows you are here? What aren't you telling me?" Kitsu asked, sounding very concerned.
"Someone is coming. Just help me." she pleaded.
Yuurei faded away sobbing. Miwaku walked in and Kitsu continued freshening up. When he was done, he quickly made his way down to the mechanics lab. He cleaned the place out. He checked all of the closets and cabinets, he looked everywhere. There was no sign of her body anywhere. He turned towards the door to see Yuurei hovering near it.
"Any idea exactly where your body is?" Kitsu asked.
"There used to be cabinets built into the walls, but they got old and were covered up. I think my body was shoved in one of those. Should be right in front of you, just punch a hole in the wall." she replied.
Kitsu broke apart the wall in front of him and uncovered handles to a cabinet. He opened up the cabinet to find Yuurei's body, looking as though she had never died in the first place. He pulled the body out of the cabinet and began looking it over. He saw no sign of a magic symbol anywhere. He began removing the school uniform on the body, feeling very disturbed that he was actually doing this, and continued searching. It was then he noticed a small black mark on her chest.
"I think I found it. Now what?" Kitsu asked.
"Okay, now rub it out." she replied.
"It's carved into the skin. I can't just rub it out." Kitsu replied.
"You are going to have to cut it off then. Just grab something sharp and slice the skin right off." Yuurei said.
"Ugh, I'm not going to like this." Kitsu said as he picked up a cutting knife off the table.
He cut off the magic symbol and put it aside. Yuurei walked in the room and put her hand on the forehead of her half naked body. Her ghost faded away. The eyes of her body opened as she sat up.
"Wow, feels good to be in my body again. I guess I don't have to kill you after all." Yuurei said jokingly.
"Yea, just put some clothes on will you." Kitsu said.
"You're still no fun. I guess I have more important matters to attend to anyway." Yuurei said as she slipped back into the old school uniform.
Kitsu noticed that the wound where the magic symbol had been was completely healed.
"Okay Kitsu, go watch that concert. It's almost 5:00. I have some other things to take care of." Yuurei said as she walked out the door.
Kitsu made his way to the courtyard just in time. The concert was just starting. The music sounded amazing, but the one member that really caught Kitsu's attention was the lead guitarist. He had short scraggly brown hair and wore thick black sunglasses. He was tall, cool, and collected as he began to play. His fingers moved faster than anything Kitsu had ever seen before. He suddenly stopped and looked up as someone began cheering from the audience.
"Oh crap. How did she get here?" he muttered as the screaming fan made her way towards the stage.
"Oh no, not them." another band member said as a group of crazed fans made their way towards the stage.
"Okay, on three we split. One, Two, Three!" the vocalist said as they ran for their lives.
The fans chased them, calling after them and confessing their undying love. The lead guitarist broke off from the rest of the band and made his escape. He made his way through the halls, proceeding with extreme caution. Kitsu was close on his tail. He could sense there was something about this guy that just wasn't right. He turned his head.
"I know you've been following me kid, what do you want?" he asked.
"Who are you? The way you played that guitar was amazing." Kitsu said, mainly as a cover for why he was really following the guitarist.
"I'm Ryoushi. I'm surprised you have never heard of me before. Here, take this, kid." he said as he scribbled his autograph on an old photo of himself.
"Thanks." Kitsu said as he walked back the way he came.
Kitsu made his way down the hall to try to catch up with Ryoushi from the other side. He heard footsteps going up the stairs and followed. Ryoushi was heading for the mechanics lab. Kitsu took a shortcut through the maintenance hallway for the floor and got to the lab first.
Ryoushi opened the door to the lab to see Kitsu standing before him. Ryoushi looked around. He walked into the lab and stared right at Kitsu.
"You're brighter than you look kid. Figuring out why I was really here so quickly. Stand aside, I have to destroy Yuurei." he said sternly.
Kitsu stepped to the side, revealing the empty cabinet.
"Don't tell me you reunited her spirit and her body! Do you know what you have done? She has enough power to conquer the world if she wanted to! Stupid Kid!" Ryoushi said.
Ryoushi bolted out of the lab and started searching the school. Kitsu made his way back up to room 502. Yuurei was waiting there for him.
"He knows I'm here. I'm going to lure him to the rooftop, you should stay out of this one Kitsu. You have no clue what you'll be getting yourself into if you do. Just stay here and let me handle Ryoushi." Yuurei said as she ran off towards the stairs.
Ryoushi was already on the rooftop. Yuurei burst through the door.
"I had a feeling you would want to do this here. The one thing you always cherished was this school. At least there will be no casualties up here." Ryoushi said.
"It's been 200 years Ryoushi, you haven't changed a bit. Although I thought as much, considering you are my brother and all. I guess it's time to finish this." Yuurei said.
"I'd assume so. It's kind of ironic though, how something so pure and something so corrupt could come for the same womb." Ryoushi said as a strong white aura began to glow around him.
"Just shut up and fight me." Yuurei said as a dark aura surrounded her.
Ryoushi leaped into the air and fired beams of light from his fists down at Yuurei. She leaped back and fired off balls of pure darkness at the beams, destroying them on contact. She fired off a massive ray of dark energy at Ryoushi. He fired a beam into the air, pushing himself out of the way. Yuurei struck a meditative pose as she prepared her next spell. Ryoushi waved his hand in the air and summoned a falcon. The falcon dove at Yuurei, pecking at her relentlessly.
"Damn this bird! Still relying on your familiar to get around having to deal with the heavy artillery I see." Yuurei said, sounding very annoyed.
Kitsu burst through the door to the rooftop.
"What are you doing here? Didn't I tell you to stay put! Can't you just do what you're told Kitsu?" Yuurei said, now furious.
"Hey, I remember you. What are you trying to prove kid, that you can stop me from promoting justice? Just follow this demon's advice and do what you're told. Maybe you'll live longer." Ryoushi said.
The falcon dove at Kitsu. He dashed at it and grabbed it by the neck just as its beak was inches from his face. He snapped its neck and threw it to the ground. The falcon dispersed into thousands of glowing lights.
"My familiar! Thats it kid, now im pissed!" Ryoushi said.
He began charging up magical energy. Kitsu rushed in and delivered a punch to the jaw. Ryoushi went flying back and landed on the other side of the roof. He rose to his feet and began firing off successive rays of magic. Kitsu ducked and weaved through them and landed a flying knee to Ryoushi's chest.
"Damn kid, you're stronger than you look. Too bad you're throwing your life away like this. TIME TO FEEL MY RAY OF JUDGEMENT!" Ryoushi screamed.
A massive beam of light fired down through the clouds. Kitsu tried to jump out of the way, but there was no time. Kitsu closed his eyes and prepared for the worst. He hit the ground and opened his eyes. Yuurei had blocked the beam with a blanket of dark magic. Yuurei began preparing another spell as Kitsu rushed in. Ryoushi began blocking and throwing punches, but Kitsu easily landed a few hits to the face.
"Protect me, Aegis Shield!" Ryoushi yelled as he was surrounded by white light.
Kitsu punched in and was immediately thrown across the rooftop. He got to his feet and went to rush in. Yuurei pushed him aside.
"Time to end this. Fury of the forsaken, empower me! BINDING CHAINS OF DARKNESS, FINISH MY FOE!" She screamed as she released all of her pent up energy.
Dimensional holes began opening up around Ryoushi and black chains of dark energy burst forth from them. The chains wrapped around his arms and legs, suspending him in the air. The skies darkened and rain began falling from the blackened clouds above. A hand of pure shadow burst from Yuurei's chest, plunging itself deep within Ryoushi's head. It pulled out his spirit while the chains tore his body apart. The chains returned to the dark world from whence they came and the skies cleared.
"Lets see how he likes being a ghost for the rest of eternity." Yuurei said with a laugh.
Kitsu was trembling in shock of what he just witnessed. He was beginning to realize how big of a mistake he might have made in helping Yuurei.
"Don't be scared Kitsu, I don't get like that often. We had a bit of a bad history. Sorry you had to see all that." Yuurei said sympathetically.
"It's my fault. If I had just listened I wouldn't have. I'll get over it in time" Kitsu replied, still a bit shaky.
"Im thirsty. I guess it's been so long since I've actually had to eat or drink I forgot how annoying it was to care for this body. Mind if I take a little sip to hold me over until we get to the dining hall, my throat is really scratchy right now." she said.
"A little sip? Of what?" Kitsu asked a bit confused.
"Just give me your hand." Yuurei said.
Kitsu held out his hand. Yuurei pulled it to her mouth and pierced the skin with one of her fangs. She started sucking on the wound, a smile coming to her face.
"We have to find a better way of getting you blood." Kitsu said, a bit disturbed more at the fact he was letting her suck his blood than that she drank blood in the first place.
"I can do things the way I've always done them." Yuurei said.
"Not a chance, but I think I have an idea." Kitsu said.
The next morning Kitsu had made all the preparations. He had moved an extra bed into his room for Yuurei to stay in, and bought Boruto's mini-fridge off him for $60. Kitsu had put signs up all over the place promoting a blood drive. There were plenty of participants, almost the whole school gave blood, even though Kitsu never mentioned anything about where the blood was going. By the end of the day, after everyone had gone to eat dinner, Kitsu snuck back up to the room with all of the blood bags and stuffed them all in the mini-fridge.
"So, what do you think?" Kitsu asked.
"This should last me for the rest of the year. Thanks, I really appreciate all this." Yuurei replied.
The door opened. Miwaku's jaw dropped at what he saw. There sat Yuurei, drinking blood out of one of the blood bags through a bendy straw. Yuurei began to turn red in embarrassment, while Kitsu began trying to think of an explanation.
"You know what, I don't even want to know." Miwaku said as he walked back out of the room.
"You're not as evil as everyone makes you out to be. I'm actually kind of curious as to who you really are." Kitsu said.
"Well, now you have all the time in the world to." Yuurei said as she leaned in towards him.
Yuurei began to kiss his neck, but he pulled away.
"You'll come around sooner or later, you'll see." Yuurei said, puting once again in dissapointment.
