ph8-unofficial epilogue
Kitsu looked around the Nether Realm, praying to see something in the vast field of darkness. Yuurei leaned on his shoulder, noticing his bleak stare.
"There's nothing here." she said, rubbing his shoulder.
"So we're really the only things here?" he replied, disheartened.
"The Nether Realm is only hell for those who don't know how to use it." Yuurei said as she knelt down on one knee.
She closed her eyes and touched the ground, murmuring under her breath. As she opened her eyes, small black roses began to spring up between her fingers, soon spreading all around her hand. Kitsu watched in amazement as the roses continued to rise from the darkness wherever he hand went.
"How... what..." Kitsu stammered in amazement.
"This place feeds off human emotions. It wasn't always like this, devoid of all life and color. The hatred and anger of those imprisoned here made it this way, but together we can return it to how it once was, the way I remember it." Yuurei said with a smile.
"So what you're saying is... because of our love, this place is going to change?" Kitsu asked, still in disbelief.
"Pretty much." she replied with a grin.
"So... how do I do this exactly?"
She grabbed his hand, pulling him down next to her. She guided his hand over the dark ground, small buds sprouting wherever his hand went.
"Well, it's a start at least." Yuurei said as she stood up, her tattered skirt blowing in the wind.
"This could take a while..." Kitsu groaned as he slowly started making more buds.
"I think I know how to speed things up." Yuurei replied, a devilish grin creeping across her face.
She leaped over and tackled Kitsu, wrapping her arms around him. He started to squirm, trying to break free.
"What's wrong Kitsu? You always get like this whenever I start coming on to you. I'm not dead anymore so NOW what's the problem?"
"I don't know, I'm just not sure I'm ready for this. I left on a bad note with Anei and never got to apologize... and I don't even know who I really love." Kitsu said, shying away from her.
"You sacrificed your future for me, Kitsu. That should be proof enough of how you really feel, regardless of whether you'll admit it." Yuurei replied, running her fingers through his hair.
Roses began to bloom around them as Yuurei slowly started kissing Kitsu's neck, massaging his chest with her petite hands. She slowly undid the buttons on her shirt, keeping Kitsu pinned beneath her. Just as she reached the middle button, Yuurei gave Kitsu a seductive stare. Kitsu took his chance and broke free, shuffling backwards as Yuurei dove into the shadows.
"Why are you being so stubborn? Just come to terms with yourself and let go." Yuurei said as she appeared behind him.
Before he knew it, Kitsu had shuffled back a bit too far, and found himself staring straight up Yuurei's skirt. His face turned red as he quickly averted his gaze.
"Why are you so embarrassed. It's not the first time you've seen what's under there. Let me give you a better view." she said, dropping to her knees, her skirt practically covering Kitsu's face.
Out of the corner of his eye, Kitsu saw a great oak burst out of the ground a few feet away.
"That grew fast..." Kitsu muttered.
"That's not the only thing." Yuurei giggled, eying the bulge in Kitsu's pants.
