You may be wondering, "What is a mentor agreement"? A mentor agreement is form that explains the expectations of the mentor/mentee partnership. A mentor agreement contins specific scheduled meetings, meeting times, mentor/mentee expectations, logistics...etc. The mentor agreement also has contact information for both the mentor and the mentee. Each mentor agreement will be adjusted to each mentee's schedule. Each mentee will have the opporunitity to view the mentor/mentee agreement before signing! Below is an example of a mentor/mentee agreement that I have used during a mentor/mentee partnership. Each mentee is different, meaning that I will change the agreement based on the schedule and goals we establish before-hand. Listed below is also a mentor goals/work plan and mentoring surveys. The mentoring goals/work plan will also be listed on the professional development plan tab! This an example of what you and I will be creating together in order to reach your goals. The mentoring surveys should be completed before, halfway through, and at the end of the partnership. These surveys will help me to understand where I can improve in the current/future mentoring partnerships!
