Ano, a 25-year-old event manager, was admitted to a hospital with severe headaches, vomiting, hyperventilation, and fear. After two days, a psychiatrist discharged her without a diagnosis or relief. I diagnosed her with a psychogenic headache and began relaxation therapy. Her sessions quickly revealed a history of emotional trauma and repressed conflict, which manifested as physical symptoms.
During her initial sessions, Ano went into a trance and revealed her stressful work life and a painful love triangle. She had a kind-hearted Buddhist boyfriend, Ran, whom her parents did not approve of. When Ran moved away, her parents pressured her to date Ash, a Catholic friend who they approved of but who was indifferent to her. This created immense pressure and internal conflict, causing her to develop her symptoms as a coping mechanism.
During her first out-patient session, she revisited a time when she was four years old and praying, and she saw the deaths of her grandparents. A day later, she described a chilling vision of two figures pulling her, one on each side. She felt immense pain and was unable to move. She later identified the two figures as her two boyfriends, Ran and Ash, a symbolic representation of her conflicted feelings.
On September 4, 2004, the nature of the sessions changed. While in a trance, Ano described a luminous being with light emanating from his body. He approached her, told her not to be scared, and said he had sent someone to help her. He instructed her to "trust in that person" and to "reach out to someone to hold my hand."
When asked who this person was, the being replied that he was "a person with knowledge," who helps many people. He described this person as "tall," "gifted," and "humble," and said Ano already knew him. When I held Ano's hand, she said the being was smiling and told her to open her eyes. She had no memory of the encounter.
During her next session on September 9, a being in a white gown appeared again. He told her to "listen with [her] heart" and not her ears, because the heart is where one hears the truth. He scolded her for not knowing who the person he had sent to her was and then described him again in great detail, calling him "valuable" and "important" and a "true example that all men will be looking up to." The being said I was "blessed abundantly" and that nothing would harm me because I was "covered with great strength."
He also told Ano that she would become sick again, and that I would be there to help her. He warned that she would not recover until she "believe[d] with [her] whole heart." Ano asked who he was, and he told her he was a "three-in-one person," a "helper, father and friend indeed." He also revealed that she had two guardian angels: one from birth and another, me, whom he had specifically chosen for her mission. The session concluded with the being thanking me for my help and smiling as he disappeared, leaving a sense of spiritual purpose and a clear mission.
On September 11, 2004, Ano's relaxation session was transformed into a direct communication from a divine being. He spoke through her, not only addressing her but also revealing details about my life and giving me specific instructions. The messages continued on September 13, culminating in a real-world event that validated the spiritual guidance.
The session began with the divine being questioning why I made Ano sit instead of lie down. He told me to stop writing and to listen with my heart, not my ears. He then revealed an intimate, personal detail from my past: how I was troubled getting into medical school because I was a month shy of the age limit, and how he had orchestrated a rule change that made me eligible. He said he had planned for me to become a doctor and come to Sri Lanka specifically to take care of Ano.
He shared that Ano prayed for my family and me every morning. He also gave a message about my wife, saying she had a good heart and was blessed. He asked me to introduce them, which I later did, and Ano was deeply impressed. The being also gave me a mission, stating that one day both Ano and I would become "great doctors" who would benefit many people. He instructed me to take care of Ano and not to hurt her, revealing that she was saddened when I had previously told her she was messing up her life. He also told me not to reveal everything to her, especially his prediction that she would fall ill again.
On September 13, Ano arrived at the hospital unwell. She was behaving strangely, as if someone was speaking to her. Once she was in a trance, the divine being spoke directly to me, saying he was waiting for my questions. He revealed that he had appeared in front of Ano at her home on Sunday, causing her to faint. He had spoken through her to her parents, telling them to clean his cross and his mother's photograph.
He then laid out a detailed plan for Ano's future illness and hospitalization:
She would become sick again with headaches and pain.
I was to admit her for five days.
I was to keep her alone for the first two days as he would be with her.
On the third day, I was to spend the whole night with her.
On the fourth day, she would again be alone.
I was told to only share these instructions with her brother.
Later that night, at 1 a.m., I received a call from Ano’s father; she was having a severe headache. She was admitted to the hospital, just as the being had predicted. The communication continued through her, and he re-emphasized the instructions for her five-day stay. When I instructed her to take an injection, which she would normally refuse, she took it on my insistence, showing a new level of trust and a profound change in her behavior.
On September 14, 2004, the divine messages from Ano's spiritual guide continued. She was told she had to endure pain to become stronger and that she was a vessel for a greater purpose. The messages expanded to include personal revelations for me and my family, a deeper explanation of my role, and answers to my own questions about faith and the world.
That morning, Ano's divine guide conveyed that she had fallen out of bed twice after seeing him and would experience temporary amnesia and spinal pain. He explained that she had to endure this suffering to become as strong as a "mountain" and to "relieve the burden of sin" of her parents. Her parents had also witnessed a miracle: the face of a Jesus statue changed to Ano's face as they were praying.
That evening, as Ano became frightened, I was instructed to take her home with me for the night. The being said he would be with her and promised I would be fresh in the morning. At my home, he spoke through her again, refusing to let us sleep because we were to receive more messages. He blessed my wife, calling her "pretty," and said her eyes were like his mother's and her heart was like her face. He also blessed my mother-in-law, whose name he said stood for "Trinity." He explained that I was chosen for this divine mission from childhood and that both Ano and I would become examples for others.
He then explained why I was chosen, saying I think differently from others by not only treating the body but also the soul. He encouraged me to continue on this path, saying that though people may criticize me now, they would follow me later. He said he had blessed my house and that no evil energy could enter it, but advised me to perform a ritual according to my own religion to prevent any negative forces from entering.
The divine guide then invited me to ask questions.
Religion and Unity: When I asked why different religions exist and why people fight over them, he replied that God is one and that religion is a human interpretation, not a divine teaching. He said religions do not teach hatred and noted that Buddhism is more a "way of life" than a religion.
Terrorism: He attributed terrorism to "wicked people and evil force" and defined it as a war where "both sides lose."
Rebirth in Christianity: He explained that while the concepts of rebirth and reincarnation are prevalent in Buddhism and Hinduism, Christians also reincarnate in "my Kingdom."
The Origin of the Soul: He said it was too complex for a human brain to comprehend but that souls have existed for a long time. He pointed me to the Book of Job in the Bible for more understanding.
The session concluded with the being thanking me and telling me that Ano was happy and smiling for the first time. The night of messages was a profound experience that laid the groundwork for my new understanding of healing and spirituality.
On September 15, 2004, the day after Ano's miraculous night at my home, her parents took her back to the hospital ward. I was exhausted but felt compelled to perform a Reiki healing session for another patient, the mother of a doctor who was suffering from breast cancer. What happened next was a profound, life-changing experience.
As I began the Reiki session, a sudden, powerful vision appeared. A strong light emanated from a triangle floating seven to eight feet above me. Within an oval of light below it, I saw rapidly changing images of Hindu gods and goddesses. Below them, the faces of saints from various religions spun quickly. To my left, a golden OM moved through the sky, while a golden Cross floated to my right. I witnessed various celestial patterns. This intense vision lasted only a fraction of a minute, but it completely erased my tiredness and sleepiness.
When I opened my eyes, I asked the patient what she had seen. She said she had seen a light and then began communicating with Jesus, crying with relief. The depression and suffering she had been experiencing from her operation were dramatically relieved.
That evening, Ano was discharged from the hospital, her symptoms completely gone. The experience had not only healed her but had also given me a new understanding of my mission. The divine visions and messages, which had so far been communicated to me through Ano, were now being directly shown to me, a profound and personal confirmation of my spiritual path. Ano's journey was far from over, as she continued to have a series of divine dreams throughout the following month of October, all filled with messages from Mother Mary.
Ano’s emails detail her continued spiritual experiences after her healing, filled with vivid dreams and divine messages. These dreams served to reassure her, strengthen her faith, and guide her on her spiritual path.
In her first email, Ano described a moment during a family prayer when she saw the statue of Jesus suddenly smile at her. While this had happened before, this time she fully believed it. After the prayer, a Bible verse she randomly selected reinforced the message: "Praise and sing to the Lord and tell all about his wonderful acts." The next day, she had a dream in which Jesus appeared in her room and left behind a picture and a prayer on her table. The image was so clear in her mind that she and her aunt were determined to find it.
In another dream, Ano was crying in a dark place when Mother Mary appeared, telling her that she knew why she was sad. Ano had been feeling sad about a person close to her heart, and Mother Mary said she understood her feelings completely. She advised Ano to leave her worries to Jesus, saying he would take care of that person. Mother Mary emphasized that Ano's prayers were being answered and that her prayers for this person were being accepted by God. She also told Ano not to be hurt by small things, as Jesus did not want to see his child sad. Finally, Mother Mary encouraged her to "Pray everyday child because I can make a difference," a message that deeply moved Ano.
After this dream, Ano felt an incredible sense of peace and well-being. She now fully believes in the divine messages she is receiving and is confident in their truth. She feels that her experiences will speak for themselves and that it is up to others to believe. She also mentioned waiting to share another message she received, indicating her journey of divine communication is ongoing.
In an email to me, Ano shared a dream she had on October 6, 2004, which left her confused but also filled with hope. In the dream, she was walking with a calm, well-dressed, tall man whose face she could not see. Their bond felt intimate, but when they reached another road, he left her, causing her to cry. He returned briefly to comfort her, saying, "do not fear," and then left again.
As Ano wept, Mother Mary suddenly appeared. She hugged her, wiped away her tears, and told her to stop crying, reminding her that her Son did not want to see her sad. Mother Mary reassured her that she had not been abandoned and that the man who left would return. She explained that he would always be there when Ano needed him most, even if she couldn't see him.
Mother Mary then revealed the profound nature of their relationship. She told Ano that she was a "gift for him" and that the bond between them was a divine creation that "no human being can understand" and that only Jesus, Ano, and the man would fully comprehend. She reminded them both that they have a mission and that Jesus would strengthen them.
Mother Mary then gave a crucial clue about the man's identity. She said Ano would not remember who he was, but that he would "very soon" tell her himself. She urged Ano to have faith and to pray for him, as a "big day is coming." Ano concluded her email by expressing her confusion over the dream's meaning but stated her unwavering faith in the message. She was also worried about me since she had not received any emails, confirming her concern for my well-being and her dependence on our ongoing communication.
In an email, Ano recounted another dream she had on October 8, 2004, where she received more divine messages. This time, Mother Mary appeared to her, confirming a shared mission between us and emphasizing the importance of helping each other.
In the dream, Ano was praying when Mother Mary appeared, asking if she was happy now that she knew who the man in her previous dream was. Ano replied "Yes," and Mother Mary hugged her, saying her son, Jesus, was happy to see her smiling.
Mother Mary then told Ano to be strong and to always speak to her in prayer, as she would guide her. She reminded Ano that she was not alone in her mission and that a person—me—was also involved as her guide. She said that her Son, Jesus, had a very important message for me, and that I would know how to communicate with him, possibly through meditation or another way.
Mother Mary repeatedly stressed the phrase "in the hour of need." She told Ano that she would help me, and in return, I would help her. She gave Ano a final, powerful blessing, looking into her eyes and saying, "Blessed are the eyes that see God's creation... and blessed is the one who guides for he will be showered with blessings." She kissed Ano's forehead and whispered, "Remember to help in the hour of need, do not hesitate because I are a gift and will be guided."
The final message was a direct confirmation of my role. Mother Mary told Ano to tell me that I was "chosen out of everybody by my Son and he will be glorified." She also told Ano to never doubt me, as I was chosen to guide her in her mission. Although Ano woke up confused about how to help me in my "hour of need," she was reassured by her role in a divinely guided mission.
In an email, Ano recounted another dream she had on October 11, 2004, which provided a deeper understanding of her divine mission and my role in it. The message confirmed that our paths were intertwined and that we were to help each other on a spiritual journey.
In the dream, Ano was looking for a prayer in a book when Mother Mary and Jesus appeared to her. Mother Mary told her that prayers from the heart were more powerful than any written in a book, and that she should simply close her eyes and ask the Holy Spirit to guide her. Jesus then approached Ano, placed her hand on his heart, and said, "My little girl can I feel how much I love I, the love that I have for I is something that I will never understand, stay with me & be blessed with my love."
Mother Mary then showed Ano a vision of me, seated calmly with my legs crossed and eyes closed, meditating. Mother Mary and Jesus then asked Ano why she had not helped me in my "hour of need," revealing a core part of our shared mission. Jesus told her, "All my creations are blessed & useful & out of all, the two of I are my most valuable creations."
He gave Ano a specific message for me: that I was on a "great mission" and should not "struggle a lone." He said that we should "reach out to each other & continue the mission that I have given." He also told Ano that he had given me a "certain thing as an experiment" and that he wanted to talk to me. Mother Mary concluded the message by telling Ano to "do as my Son asked I" and to help me "without hesitation." She told Ano, and me, to have trust, as she would guide us both.
Ano also shared a real-life incident that demonstrated the power of prayer. While walking home from work, lost in a daydream, she suddenly heard a voice say "STOP." She stopped immediately and saw a huge black snake crossing the path where she would have stepped. Ano connected this event to a "Prayer for Protection" she recites daily, which includes a verse about being protected from snakes. She felt a powerful confirmation of the prayer's efficacy and the divine protection she was receiving.
The email concludes with Ano expressing confusion about how she could help me but a clear willingness to do so, saying she would be "more than happy to help." She also told me to give her love to my wife, Dr. Tripti.
In another email, dated October 13, Ano shared a new dream and expressed her confusion about the messages she was receiving. She was perplexed by Mother Mary's instruction for her to help me, believing that I, a doctor, was the one who helped others. She also wondered about the meaning of the "experiment" Jesus mentioned.
Ano admitted that she was confused by the messages. She struggled to understand why Mother Mary told her she hadn't helped me in my "hour of need," feeling that as a "useless person," she had nothing to offer a doctor. She was also perplexed by the divine instruction for us to not "struggle a lone" and to "reach out to each other."
She found the most puzzling part to be Jesus's message about a "certain thing as an experiment." She wondered if it was related to scientific research. She was hesitant to ask me, as she had been told not to question the divine messages.
In a new, shorter dream, Ano saw Mother Mary and Jesus again. Mother Mary told her that she would continue to appear to her until their wishes were fulfilled. She had a message for me: that I should not be disturbed by difficulties or fear barriers, as the burdens I would face were nothing compared to the reward for serving Jesus.
Mother Mary also delivered a message for both of us, but especially for Ano. She said that while people might criticize us for our good deeds, in her eyes we were doing the best for everyone. She encouraged us to have faith and to trust that a person with faith "cannot be trampled or confronted by anyone." This message was a powerful confirmation of our divine mission and a reassurance that we would be protected from any negativity that might come our way.
In another email from October 13, 2004, Ano shared how her spiritual experiences were now being mirrored in her everyday life. She found validation in a public prayer service, reinforcing her belief in her divine guidance.
Ano attended a prayer service where the speaker urged the congregation to surrender to God and believe in Jesus's name. The speaker said that if a wish is asked for with strong faith, it will be granted in Jesus's name. This message resonated deeply with Ano, who was already receiving direct divine messages.
She then shared a remarkable detail from a previous prayer meeting she didn't attend. A preacher had given a "word of knowledge," stating there was a girl in her mid-twenties struggling with a relationship. The preacher said Jesus was with her and that she should surrender to him. Ano's cousins, who were present, were certain the message was for her. She had been with Ran, her boyfriend, at the time of the meeting, which further validated the message's relevance to her personal struggles.
The email concludes with Ano mentioning she will "break the news" and let me know the result, though it's unclear what she is referring to. I found it difficult to understand the full meaning of the messages and what specific help I was supposed to ask of her. Her emails became less frequent, and she eventually moved out of the country. Over the next three years, we lost touch.
However, the divine messages did not stop. In the following years, I received more messages from various sources, all with a central theme: Jesus's return. This confirmed my spiritual path and a larger mission, even though my connection with Ano had ended.
