J Friar 0-1 D Goodwin County league board 1.

In this position white should play 19 Rxd5! and then black is better but has some work to do in order to win the game.

After 19 Bc4?, the game continued 19...Qb1+ 20 Rd1 Qe4+ 21 Be2 Nxc3, and white resigned as he has lost a piece. However, a much prettier finish is 21...Qxg2 22 Rf1 Ne3! 23 fe3 (otherwise black plays 23...Nc2) Qxb7 24 Rxf5 Qh1+ 25 Rxf1 Qxh2 with an easily winning position.
