The 2015 season in the BCCL division 1 is now complete.

Malvern and Worcester Dragons finished 6th out of 9 teams with 7.5/16. The same score as last year, although one place higher up in the table.

2014

The BCCL division 1 webserver chess tournament has now finished. We finished 5th out 7 and scored 7.5/16.

2013

BCCL championship, 3.5/16, 10th out of 10 teams. This was the last year before the split into webserver and postal leagues. We would have been relegated, and as we defaulted on two boards we might have had to disband the team.

2012

BCCL championship, 4.5/16, finishing 9th out of 11 teams.

2011

BCCL championship, 7/16, finishing 7th out of 10 teams.

2010

BCCL premier division, 12.5/16, 1st out of 9 teams, promoted.

2009

BCCL premier division, 9/16, 4th equal out of 7 teams. Individual results not available board scores on each board were as follows.

2008

We have been relegated from the BCCL premiership to division 1.

BCCL division 1, 12/16, 1st out of 7 teams, promoted.

2007

Still in the BCCL premier division, as we scored our first positive score since 2001 last year. Jim Keene has joined the team in place of Maurice Ginger. We scored 6/16 and finished 9th out of 10.

2006

Still in the premier division after mid-table mediocrity last year. Maurice Ginger has replaced the late Charles Gray. 9.5/16 placed the team 3rd out of 10.

2005

Last year was only a temporary reprieve. We have been relegated from the championship to the premier division. Sam Tombs has left Malvern. Stefan Fuchs joined the team. 8/16 placed the team 8th out of 12.

2004

The premier division has been renamed the championship. Slightly surprisingly, we haven't been relegated from it. Graham Evans and Edward Nesbit have retired from postal chess. Tony Shaw has joined the team. Final score: 5.5/16

2003

British correspondence chess league, premier division.

It was decided to decline the offer to remain in a higher division this year. We were relegated fair and square! Facing the unusual situation of having more players than places, the captain decided to rest himself!

2002

British Postal chess team championship. We were promoted last year. Highlight of the year is Brian's defeat of a correspondence GM.

Phil Millard has moved away from Malvern. Sam Tombs and Edward Nesbit have joined the team.

2001

British correspondence chess league premier division.

J. Cox left the team. George Probyn has stepped in.

Total 10 out of 16. We came third and achieved promotion to the British postal chess team championship.

2000

British correspondence chess league premier division.

Total 8 points out of 16. Fifth out of 13, ensuring our survival in this division for another season.
