BBC-Trump Speech Splicing Scandal Hides Massive Trump & BBC Racism, Lying & Gaza Genocide Complicity

Anti-science, pathologically lying , narcissist, bully, misogynist, convicted felon, climate criminal, Humanity-violating, terracidal, human rights-violating, racist, war criminal, International Law-violating, and Gaza Genocide-complicit US President Donald Trump is threatening to sue the UK BBC over its false splicing of his notorious 6 January 2021 Speech. However this massively overblown BBC-Trump Scandal overshadows both Trump’s horrific crimes and massive BBC racism, censorship and lying that perverts and betrays the UK and Humanity.
The core ethos of decent Humanity is Kindness and Truth but these moral imperatives are grossly violated by both Trump and the BBC. While narcissist Trump seems to revel in crude bullying and malfeasance, the UK BBC claims that it is the most trusted major news organization in the world while having an obscene record of racism, lying and censorship. This essay addresses the pathologies of both the genocidally murderous Trump and the Gaza Genocide-complicit and mendacious BBC.
(A). How Gaza Genocide-complicit President Donald Trump threatens Humanity by violating Kindness and Truth.
(1). Anti-science Trump. Science involves gathering accurate data about reality and critical testing of potentially falsifiable hypotheses. Trump has attacked and threatened both American universities [1] and science [2] in America , 2 of the greatest adornments of American civilization. He has appointed intellectually and professionally weak people to important posts in his administration, as exampled by the appointment of anti-vaxxer and dangerously anti-science Robert Kennedy Junior as Secretary for Health and Human Services[3]. Zionist Trump has dismantled the Department of Education, and frozen funding to universities failing to act against the free speech of those (including many anti-racist Jews) opposed to genocidally racist Zionism (now mother- and child-killing Zionazism) [1]. Nature: “In the budget proposal it released in May for the 2026 fiscal year, which began 1 October, the Trump administration called for unprecedented cuts to US science agencies, including a 40% cut for the NIH. The budget for the NSF, one of the country’s main providers of grants for basic science, would be slashed by more than 50%, and NASA’s science budget would be cut nearly in half”[2]. Trump has blurred the separation of religion and the State by pandering to Biblical literalist crazies, his most fervent supporters and who are, like Trump, dangerously detached from reality.
(2). Pathologically lying Trump. Science has zero tolerance for lying but the Washington Post established that Trump had uttered an astonishing over 30,000 lies and falsehoods during the first Trump Administration [4]. By way of comparison, the George W. Bush Administration merely told 935 lies about Iraq between 9/11 (2001) and the illegal and war criminal invasion of Iraq (2003) [5, 6].
(3). Narcissist, bully, misogynist Trump. Trump is an absurdly egotistical narcissist, bully, and misogynist. Trump absurdly declares that God has preserved his life so that he can Make America Great Again (MAGA). Trump’s extraordinary bullying is exampled by his abuse of non-citizen residents of America, his use of tariffs to whip other countries into line, and his repeated threats to destroy regimes he doesn’t like. His notoriously expressed misogyny (grabbing women) evidently did not change the voting intentions of his numerous Racist Religious Right Republican (R4) female supporters. However it now seems that the R4 women draw the line at the raping of children and are demanding full release of the files relating to leading paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, Donald Trump’s erstwhile buddy. The Australian ABC: “"I've known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy," Trump told New York Magazine for its profile of Epstein in 2002. "It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life". But the two men reportedly fell out in 2004 over a property deal. According to Trump, his friendship with the financier ended after he "stole" young female employees from his Mar-a-Lago spa” [7]. Things have now come to a head with Congress demanding release of the Epstein files, and Trump will be forced to sign the Bill.
(4). Convicted felon Trump. In 2024 former US president Donald Trump was convicted as a felon over a victim-less dishonesty. However what is resolutely ignored by US and US-beholden Western Mainstream media is that Trump and 45 other US presidents remain un-convicted for deadly war crimes and other horrendous genocidal crimes committed by genocidally racist America since 1776. The 2 unbroken themes of the US over the last 248 years have been (1) the violent and genocidal theft of the land and resources of other peoples, and (2) egregious lying to variously whitewash this history of theft and mass murder as “Christian”, “civilization”, “freedom”, “liberty”, “justice”, “progress” , “democracy”, “the rule of law”, “responsibility to protect” , “the will of the people”, and “the rules-based order” [8].
(5). Climate criminal, Humanity-violating, terracidal Trump. Stupid, ignorant, climate change denialist and anti-science Trump has withdrawn the US from the Paris Climate Agreement, and at the UN General Assembly commented (September 2025): “This ‘climate change,’ it’s the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the world, in my opinion… All of these predictions made by the United Nations and many others, often for bad reasons, were wrong. They were made by stupid people that have cost their countries fortunes and given those same countries no chance for success. If you don’t get away from this green scam, your country is going to fail” [9]. In US lackey Australia, the Far Right, effective climate change denialist and Trumpist Australian Liberal Party-National Party Coalition Opposition has scrapped the key Paris goal of “net zero emissions by 2050” [10] (the Australian Labor Government has ambitious plans to expand renewable energy to cut Domestic greenhouse gas (GHG) pollution, but is hugely increasing Exported GHG pollution by approving 31 new coal and gas projects with 38 new or expanded coal projects awaiting approval [11]).
The Paris “ideal” warming target of no more than +1.5C was exceeded in 2023 and 2024, global warming is presently at over 1.4C in 2025, and at a warming rate of 0.27C per decade [12] a catastrophic plus 2C will be reached by 2040 i.e. in a mere 15 years’ time. Humanity and the Biosphere are existentially threatened by nuclear weapons and climate change [13, 14]. One of Humanity’s greatest minds, Stephen Hawking (2018): “We see great peril if governments and societies do not take action now to render nuclear weapons obsolete and to prevent further climate change” [14]. However dangerous idiot Trump is planning to resume nuclear weapons testing, and greedily espouses continuing GHG pollution of the atmosphere. The damage-related price of GHG pollution is $200 per tonne CO2-equivalent (CO2e) [15-17] and in 2024 US annual GHG pollution was 5.9 Gt CO2-e, 11.1% of the world total of 53.2 GtCO2e [18]. Thus under climate criminal Trump, America is committed to running up a Carbon Debt of ($200 /t CO2e) x (5.9 Gt CO2e/year) = $1,180 billion each year as compared to $10,631 billion/year for the whole world – an inescapable Carbon Debt to be paid by future generations [17]. Meanwhile the atmospheric levels of the greenhouse gases (GHGs) carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) are at record highs and increasing at record high rates [19]. In the absence of urgent requisite action about 10 billion people may perish in a Climate Genocide en route to a sustainable human population of only 1 billion by 2100 [17].
(6). Human rights-violating Trump. Within the US Trump has been grossly violating the human rights of US citizens and non-citizen legal US residents illegally arrested and maltreated in the ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) campaign of detention and deportation of overwhelmingly Hispanic undocumented arrivals. The Trump-ordered ICE campaign involves terrorizing communities on a racial basis, and violation of due process. The US Customs and Border Protection Agency (CBP). enforces the Trump Administration’s “zero tolerance” policy, detaining migrants and asylum seekers at the border and initiating the separation of undocumented families and the unforgivable separation of children from their parents (US Government child abuse) [20]. Trump is attacking the freedom of speech supposedly guaranteed by the First Amendment of the Constitution by fascist-style actions against media, universities and university students. PEN America: “In early October, the Trump administration sent letters to nine universities urging them to pledge support for key administrative priorities in exchange for access to benefits like federal funding and visa approvals, outlined in a document called “Compact for Academic Excellence in Higher Education.” The compact has since been offered to all colleges and universities nationwide. PEN America believes this compact signals an alarming acceleration in the White House’s agenda to erode the values and commitments of academic freedom and free expression that have historically been foundational to higher education in the United States” [21]. America’s universities are at the peak of American and indeed human civilization but are under serious attack by stupid, ignorant, bigoted, tasteless, mendacious and fascist psychopath Trump.
(7). Racist, war criminal, International Law-violating, and Gaza Genocide-complicit Trump. War is the penultimate in racism and genocide the ultimate in racism. Trump has war criminally bombed Syria, Iran and Yemen, and repeatedly threatened total destruction of peoples he doesn’t like. When the democratically-elected Iraqi Parliament demanded the withdrawal of US and US Alliance forces Trump threatened to instantly collapse the Iraqi economy by a banking freeze if Iraq insisted on US Alliance withdrawal from its territory [22]. People subject to war, occupation and enforced hegemony die avoidably from violence and from imposed deprivation. Thus countries merely threatened with invasion have to divert scarce resources from sustaining life to military defence. Presently each year 7.4 million people die avoidably from deprivation on Spaceship Earth with America in charge of the flight deck, and about 1,500 million people have died thus since 1950. Avoidable deaths from deprivation in countries occupied by the US in the post-WW2 era have totalled 82 million since 1950, with 70%of the deaths being those of under-5 year old infants [22].
Trump has exacerbated the carnage of this Global Avoidable Mortality Holocaust by withdrawing from the World Health Organization (WHO) and stopping USAID. It is estimated that Trump’s global aid cuts will kill 12-14 million people in the next 5 years [23, 24], overwhelmingly in impoverished non-European countries. Long-suffering impoverished Americans will not escape passive mass murder by Trump. Thus it is estimated that 1.5 million Americans die preventably each year from “life-style choice” reasons (e.g. smoking, obesity and air pollution) and “political choice” reasons (e.g. underfunding-related adverse hospital events and inadequate medical insurance). In the last 24 years about 36 million Americans have died preventably [26, 27]. It is estimated that the US War on Terror had an accrual cost of $8 trillion [28] and caused over 30 million Muslim “deaths from violence and deprivation” since the (US-complicit? Israeli-complicit?) 9/1l atrocity that killed 3,000 Americans [29, 30]. Thus successive US Administrations including the Trump Administrations have committed $8 trillion to killing over 30 million Muslims abroad instead of trying to save the lives of 36 million Americans at home. Indeed since the formal start of the Palestinian Genocide by Apartheid Israel in 1948, the Palestinian Holocaust has been accompanied by a resolutely hidden American Holocaust involving tens of millions of untimely American deaths and a $40 trillion cost of Apartheid Israel to Americans [31-37].
Trump grossly violated International Law in bombing Syria, Iran , Yemen and Venezuelan boats, hosting war criminal Netanyahu (who is the subject of an arrest warrant by the International Criminal Court, the ICC), and taking punitive actions against the ICC. A version of the Trump Plan for the administration of demolished Gaza and the 1.5 million Gazans surviving out of the pre-war population of 2.4 million has just been approved by the UN Security Council 13 to 0 with Russia and China abstaining . However the Algerian envoy, Amar Bendjama, speaking for the Arab bloc: “We submitted what we considered essential amendments to ensure balance and integrity in the text. Some of those proposals were taken on board… Algeria has finally decided to vote in favour of this text, a text that we support [in] its core objective, namely the maintenance of the ceasefire and the creation of conditions enabling the Palestinian people to exercise their immeasurable rights to self-determination and statehood…This resolution must be read in its entirety. Its annexe is an integral part of it, and all parties must comply with it. It clearly affirms no annexation, no occupation, no forced displacement” [38]. The genocidally racist Zionazis oppose this of course.
The orders of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) must be obeyed although the 20-point Trump Plan violates the ICJ orders. According to the Office of the UN Human Rights Commissioner on the ICJ order of 19 July 2024: “Israel and other UN Member States must immediately comply with the authoritative determination by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Israel’s presence in the occupied Palestinian territory, independent human rights experts said today. The landmark ruling of 19 July 2024 declared that Israel’s occupation of the Gaza strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, is unlawful, along with the associated settlement regime, annexation and use of natural resources. The Court added that Israel’s legislation and measures violate the international prohibition on racial segregation and apartheid. The ICJ mandated Israel to end its occupation, dismantle its settlements, provide full reparations to Palestinian victims and facilitate the return of displaced people” [39-42].
(B). Racist, mendacious and Gaza Genocide-complicit BBC.
“Mainstream BBC-Trump Affair reportage implies that the BBC had lazily spliced together 2 bits of a huge Trump Speech without indicating a pause between the 2. However there was a much more complicated splicing by the BBC. In my extensive, science-informed humanitarian writing (a thousand huge and exhaustively referenced articles and 10 huge books) I often properly quote multiple key observations in a person’s article in sequential order of expression. Thus quoting Faith Wardwell (Politico) on the BBC-Trump Affair: “The legal threats center on a spliced edit of Trump’s speech ahead of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot… In the clip, the president appears to say “We’re going to walk down to the Capitol and I’ll be there with you, and we fight. We fight like hell””. However sequential splicing and quoting of Trump’s remarks based on the transcript yields: “And I'll be there with you… we're going to walk down to the Capitol… And we fight. We fight like hell”. Likewise the highly-flawed, anything-goes BBC malreports “more than 67,000” Gaza deaths whereas data from expert epidemiologists in the leading medical journal The Lancet indicate 875,000 Gaza “deaths from violence and deprivation” (Google the phrase) by 7/10/2025. ”
(1). The racist and mendacious BBC is the mouthpiece of racist and lying UK governments. The mendacious and PC racist (politically correct racist) BBC is the mouthpiece of the UK if not always of the UK Government of the time. The BBC accordingly adopts a “balanced” position between the Centre-Right Labour and the Right-Far Right Conservatives. In this it resembles its mendacious spawning, the cowardly and mendacious Australian ABC. Thus on key issues concerning decent people such as the Iraqi Genocide, the Afghan Genocide, Israeli Apartheid, the Palestinian Genocide, and the Gaza Genocide the BBC adopts the Zionist-perverted position of both Labour and Conservative UK Governments, of most of the Mainstream media and hence of most of the public in supporting the war criminal perpetrators. The Independent and The Guardian try to preserve some sort of decency and objectivity. MP Zarah Sultana (a humane and anti-racist Leftist MP: “Legacy media are not our allies. They are the mouthpiece of the ruling class. And how many of them have spoken out against Israel's genocide in Gaza and the direct targeting of Palestinian journalists? You cannot give these people an inch. Their smears won't work this time” [47]. Those smears politically destroyed Jeremy Corbyn, the most anti-racist UK Labor leader ever.
(2). The racist and mendacious BBC backs the anti-Semitic and holocaust-ignoring International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA). The UK and 34 other European countries belong to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) which is anti-Arab anti-Semitic and anti-Jewish anti-Semitic (by falsely defaming anti-racist Jewish, Palestinian, Arab and Muslim critics of the appalling crimes of Apartheid Israel as assertedly “anti-Semitic”) and holocaust denying by ignoring all WW2 holocausts other than the WW2 Jewish Holocaust (5-6 million Jews killed by violence and deprivation), notably (deaths from violence and deprivation in brackets) the WW2 Sinti and Roma Holocaust (1 million), WW2 Polish Holocaust (6 million), WW2 European Holocaust (40 million), WW2 Soviet Holocaust (23 million), WW2 Chinese Holocaust (35-40 million) and the WW2 Bengali Holocaust (WW2 Indian Holocaust, WW2 Bengal Famine; 6-7 million Indians deliberately starved to death for strategic reasons in Bengal, Bihar, Assam and Odisha by the British with food-denying Australian complicity [48]). Simon Schama’s 3-volume “A History of Britain” (2000) and Michael Wood’s “The Story of India” (2007) (both published by the BBC) made no mention of the WW2 Bengali Holocaust, this amnesia being entrenched in the English-speaking world [48] (a notable exception being Michael Portillo’s BBC radio program “Bengal Famine” , that involved me, Economics Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen and other scholars, and was part of a BBC series entitled “Things we forget to remember” [49]). The IHRA likewise ignored some 70 genocides and holocausts [33, 48] and has been condemned by over 40 anti-racist Jewish organizations [50, 51]. However the BBC declared: “The IHRA's working definition of antisemitism is the internationally accepted standard definition, adopted by the government and most British institutions. In the guidance on its application, it includes holding Jews responsible for Israel's actions, and comparing its policies to those of the Nazis, as antisemitic acts”[47].
(3). The racist and mendacious BBC like most Western Mainstream media lies about Apartheid Israel. Outstanding and humane British journalist covering Israel/Palestine, Jonathan Cook (2025): “The past two years have seen a catastrophic failure by western journalists to report properly what amounts to an undoubted genocide in Gaza. This has been a low point even by the dismal standards set by our profession, and further reason why audiences continue to distrust us in ever greater numbers.… A rare example of a journalist mentioning the censorship system was the BBC’s Lucy Williamson, when she was allowed to embed this month with the Israeli military to film the destruction of Gaza. She observed: “Military censorship laws in Israel mean that military personnel were shown our material before publication. The BBC maintained editorial control of this report at all times.” And I have a bridge to sell you. Israeli government control: Israel licenses foreign correspondents by issuing them a Government Press Office card. For the past 20 years, Israel has issued the cards only to journalists formally working for a news organisation it regards as “accredited”. This licensing system was tightened after new digital media platforms offered freelance journalists the chance to reach audiences outside billionaire- and state-owned media. Israel has effectively banned independent, freelance journalists, in an attempt to ensure reporting is filtered through big news organisations whose own limitations I have pointed out above… I first had to unravel the conditioning and training – both ideological and professional – that had encouraged me to assume Israelis were the Good Guys and Palestinians … well, they must be something less than the Good Guys. And then I had to rebuild my ideological and professional worldview from scratch – like a child, trying to make sense of all the new information I was absorbing. Although I hid it at the time, the truth is it was a slow, frightening and painful awakening. Everything I believed in and trusted had crumbled to dust. Is it any surprise that the vast majority of journalists never make such a transition?” [52].
(4). The racist and mendacious BBC like most Western Mainstream media grossly under-counts 13-fold the horrific 875,000 Gaza “deaths from violence and deprivation” in 2 years. The remorseless racist BBC and racist Mainstream media (MSM) under-counting of Gaza deaths means that the expertly-estimated reality must be must be endlessly restated: From data published in the leading medical journal The Lancet, 175,000 Gazans had been killed violently after 2 years of the Gaza Genocide. It was “conservatively” estimated by epidemiologists that deaths from deprivation were 4 times the deaths from violence i.e. 4 x 175,000 = 700,000. Based on the relative proportions in deaths reported by Gaza health officials, the 875,000 Gaza deaths were estimated to include about 325,000 children, 207,000 women and 342,000 men. However these estimates are conservative because they do not consider the extreme vulnerability to deprivation of under-5 year old infants (in impoverished countries 70% of avoidable deaths from deprivation are under-5 year old infants) [23, 44-46]. The BBC reported (8 October 2025): “More than 67,000 people have been killed” [53], this under-counting the estimate based on data in The Lancet by a factor of 875000/67,000 = 13-fold.
(5). The racist and mendacious BBC like most Western Mainstream media ignores or underplays numerous shocking statistics about the Gaza Genocide. Space does not permit a full catalogue of 50 horrific numbers relating to the Zionist Israeli-imposed Gaza Genocide - for details and documentation see Gideon Polya, “Unforgivable 2-Year Gaza Massacre, Gaza Genocide & Gaza Holocaust By 50 Appalling Numbers” [54]. The Zionist Israeli-permitted Palestinian Breakout from the Gaza Concentration Camp led to the deaths of 1,200 Israelis, mostly past or present Israeli soldiers. After 2 years of US-backed Zionist killing, Gazan deaths from violence, 175,000, and from imposed deprivation, 700,000, total 875,000. I have carefully tabulated this Gaza Holocaust from 7 October 2023 to about 7 October 2025 in terms of 50 numbers that can be used in the war crimes trials of all the Zionist Israeli, US and US Alliance perpetrators. By way of example, item #50: taking the Gaza deaths into account, 3.1 million Palestinians killed by violence, 0.3 million, and deprivation, 2.8 million, in the century-long Palestinian Genocide and Palestinian Holocaust (noting 5-6 million Jews killed by the Nazis in the WW2 Jewish Holocaust) [54].
(6). The cowardly silence of the racist and mendacious BBC journalists betrays their 272 martyred Gaza journalist colleagues. Gideon Polya (18 August 2025) : “The UN has reported that genocidal Apartheid Israel has so far killed 242 journalists reporting the Gaza Massacre, Gaza Genocide and Gaza Holocaust (680,000 Gaza deaths from violence and deprivation as of 25 April 2025) [875,000 as of 7 October 2025], with this translating to 64.5 journalists killed per year per million of population as compared to 0.5 (Syria), 0.3 (Afghanistan) and 0.01 (the World). Memo to cowardly, racist and mendacious Western Mainstream media: Silence is complicity and inaction is complicity” [55].
(7). The racist and mendacious BBC like most Western Mainstream media ignores horrific Indigenous deaths from violence and deprivation in the post-9/11 US Alliance War on Muslims. Just one example: it is estimated from polling and UN Population Division data that Iraqi deaths from violence and imposed deprivation in 2003-2011 totalled 2.7 million [23, 33, 48, 56] but the BBC reports “461,000” [57]. The Australian ABC estimated “tens of thousands” [58]. However the Brown University “Cost of War” project estimates 4.5 million deaths in war zones of the War on Terror [59] (my estimate is 9.5 million Iraqi and Afghan deaths) [23, 33, 48, 56]). The Iraqi authorities report 5 million orphans in Iraq [60] – go figure.
(8). The racist and mendacious BBC like all Western Mainstream media accept the utterly implausible “lying Bush official version of 9/11”. A large body of science, engineering, architecture, demolition, aviation, military and intelligence experts reject the utterly implausible “lying Bush official version of 9/11” [29]. See [61] for an extremely hostile BBC interview with physical chemist Professor Niels Harrit (University of Copenhagen) who calmly and repeatedly insisted on hard evidence and rejected the “official version” on numerous grounds (he and colleagues had applied advanced analytical techniques to determine that the WTC dust contained unexploded nanothermite particles).
(9). The BBC deleted Benazir Bhutto’s 2007 interview statement on the death of Osama bin Laden (assertedly killed by the Americans on 2 May 2021 and the body disposed of at sea). In a 2 November 2007 Al Jazeera interview with Sir David Frost the Pakistani political leader Benazir Bhutto detailed the names and conduct of 3 key terrorists who might cause her harm (she was assassinated on 27 December 2007). In particular, early in the interview she cited “Omar Sheikh, the man who murdered Osama bin Laden” [62, 63]. This was surprising to many because the pathologically mendacious American leaders were claiming that Osama bin Laden was alive and plotting dire evils. The BBC broadcast the interview but with that key sentence deleted. The BBC responded to massive complaints and media reportage (notably from Chinese and Russian media [64, 65]) by issuing a statement including a link to the complete interview - however when you click on the link the crucial sentence is garbled [66].
(10). BBC reported the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7 (WTC7) before it happened and with WTC7 intact behind the reporter! Reportage of this astonishing example of in-your-face BBC malreportage was a real challenge for the mendacious BBC management. “Censorship by the BBC” [63] reported as follows: “One of the most extraordinary media events on 9-11 was how the BBC reported the demolition of World Trade Centre (WTC) building WTC7 (for the damning video record of this false BBC reportage see “BBC reports collapse of World Trade Centre Building 7 Early – TWICE”, YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mxFRigYD3s ) [rendered no longer visible by the BBC “on copyright grounds”] . Well before the collapse of WTC7 the BBC presenter in London contacts the BBC reporter Jane Standley in New York stating that the Salomon Brothers WTC building WTC7 has collapsed. Jane Standley agrees and comments about this latest collapse – with the intact WTC7 building behind her live on video. Jane Standley’s response was terminated when the feed from New York mysteriously cut out and 5 minutes later WTC7 collapsed. However at 4.54 pm (New York Time) the BBC had again reported the collapse of WTC7, 25 minutes before its collapse at 5.20pm. The video shows the “perfect” collapse of WTC7 (a building that was not hit by planes and had suffered only minor fires). The YouTube link has links to other videos of the WTC7 demolition that show its owner Silverstein clearly stating that the decision was made to ‘pull’ the building and clear evidence of explosive ejection of material from the bottom up as the building fell (see also “Larry Silverstein, WTC7, and the 9/11 demolition”: http://whatreallyhappened.com/WRHARTICLES/cutter.html )” [67]. A detailed investigation by a team of 3 engineering experts from the University of Alaska Fairbanks produced a detailed report entitled “A structural reevaluation of the collapse of World Trade Center 7” that concludes that “the collapse of WTC 7 was a global failure involving the near-simultaneous failure of all columns in the building” i.e. by explosive demolition and not by fire as asserted by the lying US Government. However, lying Mainstream Media near-totally ignore this expert new 9/11 WTC7 demolition Report [68-73].
Final comments and conclusions.
Democracy should ideally be properly informed but the citizens of the Anglosphere democracies are subject to extraordinarily entrenched lying by commission and omission by Mainstream journalist and politician presstitutes. Lying by omission (including censorship) is far, far worse than repugnant lying by commission because the latter can at least permit public refutation and public debate. This is acutely serious in a world now existentially threatened by nuclear weapons and climate change. The solution is science-based rational risk management that successively involves (a) accurate data, (b) the critical testing of potentially falsifiable hypotheses, and (c) science-informed systemic changes to minimize harm when things inevitably go wrong.
Unfortunately anti-science Trumpist lying has perverted this with (a) truth replaced by convenient perception, (b) anti-science dogma replacing scientific analysis, and (c) with neoliberal greed-driven lying, shaming and blaming replacing science-informed rational risk management. Stone proclaimed “Governments lie”, Gore Vidal declaimed “Unlike most Americans who lie all the time, I hate lying. And here I am surrounded with these hills [in Hollywood] full of liars — some very talented”, and Professors Edward Herman and Noam Chomsky in “Manufacturing Consent” exposed how Mainstream media lie for the political Establishment [74].
Literature-wise I am an Anglophile, and I love the wonderful and truthful use of the English language from Shakespeare, the King James Bible and Jane Austen to Graeme Greene, John Banville and Arundhati Roy.
