General description and distinguishing characteristics
Range and habitat
Ochna afzelii occurs from Guinea to the Sudan and Uganda, then southwards through western Tanzania, DRC, Zambia and Angola. In the valley it is found in miombo woodland in the foothills of the Muchinga escarpment.
