I know they hit the 2nd alam before Eng 3 reached the scene - it was
probably on his orders - he probably saw the smoke when on Bedford St
Concord has 2 stations - I think they typically have 3 people at Sta
2, and 5 people at Sta 1 - Sta 2 has Eng 4 - Sta 1 has Eng 3, Ladder
1, and A1 (ambulance)
Offduty people have pagers or home alert units apparently - A1 E8 E7
would have been staffed by off duty people - Concord has all fulltime
/ career / professional staff - no call men anymore I suspect
I would not have heard any direct coms at the scene because it is too
far from me - but I did not get the impression that anyone was using
direct
I did not hear Hanscom AFB FD nor Lincoln FD - they might have been
4th and 5th closest stations - first due Concord Sta 1 - 2nd due
Concord Sta 2 - 3rd due Bedford FD - something like that
