Stone objects/Flint tools

Evidence shows that between 5300 BC and 3400 BC, a culture named Swifterbant made it's marks in the Doel and Kieldrecht area, however much older finds have been made and much younger.  All these where found near Antwerptown.

Handaxes?  With both items you can see a darker colouring where in my eyes the objects can be handled.

Axe?

A new site in Antwerp, Linkeroever yielded lots of flintstones most don't appear to be tools or crafted stones, but a selection shown below most have the ripplemarks that occur when a flintstone is worked.  Potteryshards, animalbones, flintstones were found mixed in the ex-situ sediments, together with marine fossil remains dating to the neogene and recent rubble. (2015 finds)

Shard

This flint has a flatened surface on the other side which might suggest it was used as a grinder for animalhides or seeds.
