Neptunea (Sulcosipho.) angulata (Wood, 1848)

The shell is wound to the left, which might have something to do with predation, in Japan a snake specialising in snails has grown one jaw stronger and with more teeth then the other jaw, perfect for eating right wound up snails, however when she takes on a left wound up snail, she has to let go, so left wound up might be a reason for escaping predation and a certain predator.
