The Rupel/Schelderiver still runs trough a part of the land which was the Vlaamse vallei, meandering rivers deposited Pleistocene sands, today an occassional find can be made, Woolly Rhino, Mammoth etc.
Sometimes difficult to assess, this tooth makes a good example, experts have seen it and it might be wolf, lion, bear or jaguar, since it was found ex-situ, it's guessing at the ageperiod and species.
