Lewiston-Altura survived a strong Dover-Eyota squad Friday night. L-A started the game strong and jumped to a 24-6 lead at the break. The Eagles played inspired football after half and pulled to within 5, 31-26, near the end of the 3rd quarter.
L-A settled into a rhythm in the fourth quarter and outscored the Eagles 24-7 in the final quarter to pull away for the victory 55-33. L-A will travel to Wabasha-Kellogg next Friday to play the Falcons, a team that will be looking for their first win of the season.
