Senior Master Steve Albert
Senior Master Steve Albert is a seventh degree black belt who began Taekwondo in the 1980s under the direction of Master Rick Juhl.
Mr. Mike Slota
I have been in taekwondo since 1987. Throughout that time I have had the experience to train under the best instructors that the ATA has to offer. I am fortunate enough to be able to take their teachings and pass them forward to the students who are now under my instruction. Without their guidance and support I would not have been able to rise to the rank of a 5th degree. Since 1987 taekwondo has evolved from only offering self-defense classes to holding SHARP Courses, Bullying Protection, and ATA Fitness Classes.
Mrs. Becky KinneyI have been in taekwondo since 2008 after joining the class for exercise and to share something with my then 6 year old daughter. After a lot of work and sweat I was able to test up to a 2nd degree and am currently an instructor trainee. I love the ATA because of it's ability to increase self-esteem and yet still offer a team atmosphere since everyone cheers for everyone, no matter what club you're in or what state you're from. I have made great friends through our club and going to tournaments.
Mrs. Angela VonhagelI started Taekwondo in 2009. During the past few years I have seen my self-confidence grow in my personal and professional life. My instructors have been very supportive and taken the time to go the “extra-mile” which has resulted in my earning a 4th degree Black Belt. As a black belt student I am excited to continue learning but also to help other students so that they can earn their black belt as well.
