DIRECTIONS:

DO NOT LOOSE THIS SHEET! Your work will entered as a “0” without it!

You are required to have 5 turns on the wheel Including 1 practice time.

• You will be required to turn in ONE thrown vessel at the end of the semester.

• Every time you throw on the wheel in this class, you MUST fill this sheet out. Success or failure!

Leave areas blank if you did not complete the technique.

• The teacher MUST sign off after every throw or it WILL NOT be counted.

• The more you experiment, the better your results! There should be evidence in development as you practice

• Your vessel will be graded on craftsmanship and its glaze quality.

Craftsmanship: If you cut your vessel in a cross section, the walls should be even thickness, from the foot to the rim.

Your foot will be crisp and clean, accent the overall shape of the vessel, and create a sense of lightness.

Your vessels surface should be free of fingerprints, dents, and goopy clay.

The overall shape of the vessel is elegant and functional
