Participles are verbals adjectives. Use the grammar handout attached below to learn about participles. You can view it online or download it to your computer. I have included all 5 types of participles in the handout. We learn them one at a time, so simply use the packet as needed. The five types are:
Present Participles (CLC Stage 20).
Perfect Passive Participles (CLC Stage 21).
Perfect Active Participles (CLC Stage 22), from deponent verbs.
Future Passive Participles, a.k.a. Gerundives (CLC Stages 26, 32).
Future Active Participles (CLC Stage 32).
