Stage 17: Alexandria

Culture: Ancient Alexandria;
Story Line: Quintus, visiting Barbillus in Alexandria, gets an Egyptian slave, who is killed when crowd attacks Diogenes' house. Plancus bores Q and Barbillus in marketplace. Barbillus tells story: Arab merchant taken by monster bird, finds jewels, which B now has.
Grammar:
