01 Starter - Sev (Vermicelli)
Ingredients
2 Cup Superfine Vermicelli
1/2 Cup Ghee
2 Elachi pods
2 Cinnamon sticks
1 Cup Water
1 Cup Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Elachi powder
Garnishes - use any combination of these:
Chopped Dates
Coconut
Sliced Almonds
Instructions
Braise the vermicelli in ghee with elachi pods and cinnamon sticks until it turns a pinkish beige.
Add 1 cup water and let it steam on low heat.
When cooked add sugar and elachi powder.
Garnish as preferred.
