The 2023-2024 Ryle Key Club 

 Key Club Meetings are getting underway. Being led this year by President Aidan McManama, the Key Club will examine projects and get involved in community services. Mrs. McQuade, Ryle High Key Club Sponsor is being assisted by Mr. Sebastian Torres, Kiwanis Club Advisor to the Key Club. Projects include helping with the Salvation Army's Kettle Bell Ringing, making blankets for the Children's Advocacy Group,  and assisting with the Kiwanis Clubs "Brunch with the Bunny" in March.

Ringing Bells for Salvation Army

Ryle Key Club along with Kiwanis Boone County assisted Salvation Army's Kettle Bell Ringing at Kroger's in Burlington. So many folks contributed to our two kettles!

Key Club Completes Blankets

Ryle Key completed their project of making many blankets for the Children's Advocacy Group of N. Kentucky.  Way to go Key Club

Ryle Key Club Receives Donation for Project

The Kiwanis Club of Boone County presented our Ryle High School Key Club with a donation of $150 to assist in costs for the Clubs Fall Project of making blankets to support the Children's Advocacy Group.  President Hall and Key Club Supervisor Mrs. McQuade receive a check form Kiwanis Advisor Doug Keeling.


Ryle Key Club Scholarships Awarded

The Kiwanis Club of Boone County presented our Ryle High School Key Club Scholarship 2019 - 2020 to Lilly Lown, 2021-2022 Charlie Garcia, and 2022 - 2023 to Brady Hall during their Senior Awards night. Our Kiwanis Club recognized contributions, academic excellence, enthusiasm and involvement with the Ryle Key Club.

"Join us for our "Third Annual Easter Egg Hunt " fundraiser for the New Day Ranch and the Ryle High School Key Club.  Meet the Easter Bunny, go on an Easter Egg Hunt, and have a yummy Brunch. All this at the New Day Ranch Horse Farm setting near Verona, KY

The Ryle Key Club is joined up with the Kiwanis Club of Boone County for an Easter Egg Hunt at the New Day Ranch.
We started at 10:00 AM and went until Noon.
We had an Egg Hunt, Breakfast, Silent Auction Items and a Petting Zoo and a Visit from the Easter Bunny.
New Day Ranch is near Verona, KY on Rosenstiel Road.

Key Club and Boone County Kiwanis Go Bowling

The Ryle Key Club joined up with the Kiwanis Club of Boone County on Presidents Day for some good ole Bowling. We had a blast and Kiwanis Boone County  presented Ryle High School with a Donation for $300 for their help with the Bunny and Brunch Fundraiser Event. President Sophia accepted  from Key Club Kiwanis Advisor Doug Keeling. Good work to the Ryle Key Club and we look forward to working with you at our next event. 

Ryle Key Club Underway for 2021-2022

The Key Club at Ryle had their first meeting September 29, 2021 for the 21-22 Year.  The Key Club is all about the goal of serving others.  The want to care for others, the community and the students at Ryle, as a Club through providing services and stimulate concern for each other.  Helping UNICEF through raising funds and distributing caring gratitude gifts to those at Ryle, will be part of their focus. Officers for the Key Club, Sophia, Brady, Vedika, and Maliyah are ready to launch a new year. The Ryle Key Club is an affiliate of the Kiwanis Organization and the Kiwanis Club of Boone County.

At the New Day Ranch, the Ryle Key Club helped with an Easter Egg Hunt! 

The Kiwanis Club of Boone County's Key Club Advisor Linda Smith presents the Ryle High School Key Club Leadership Team with a Donation Check raised from their great work at the "2019 Breakfast With Santa"

November 2019 Meeting had Key Club Members working together on Blankets for Charity construction and designs.

September 2019 and the Ryle Key Club calls their first meeting  of the 2019 2020 year. Planning for the year and getting the meeting started was on the agenda.

As the 2018-19 school year ended, the Ryle Key Club appointed Officers for the 2019-2020 Year in the Ryle Key Club.  The Key Club will have experienced and dedicated officers to help lead and build momentum in the club led by President Lily.

Working on Service Leadership Projects and Activities are ways the Key Club pitches in to help the community. Ryle Key Club is making "dog toys" to help occupy dog's attention for a local animal shelter during the March 2019 meeting.

The Ryle Key Club helps make the December 15, 2018 "Breakfast With Santa Claus" a success.  More than 18 students pitched in at Applebee's Restaurant and helped the Kiwanis Club of Boone County, working hand in hand, serve approximately 70 pancake breakfasts as well helping while Santa visited with kids at the breakfast fundraiser event helping GOPantry and Rob's Kids.  Congrats to Ryle's Key Club!

  

The 2018/2019 Key Club Leadership Team at Ryle High School (Secretary-Allison, President-Jessica, Project Membership Coordinator-Lily, Treasurer-Hannah). Key Club Advisor from the Kiwanis Club of Boone County, Steve Sturgil attended the October 17, 2018 Key Club Meeting at Ryle and discussed plans for the coming year. 

Ryle Kiwanis Club of Boone County bestows 2017-18 Ryle Key Club President Callie Bolling with their Distinguished Service Award. Advisors Bobbie Underwood and Steve Sturgil present the Award to Callie on June 26, 2018.

The 2017/ 2018 Key Club Leadership Team at Ryle High School ( Vice President-Tristan, President-Callie, Project Membership Coordinator-Caitlyn, Treasurer-Jessica, Secretary-Hannah and Key Club Advisor from the Kiwanis Club of Boone County-Bobbie Underwood) at the February 2018 Key Club Meeting at Ryle discussing accomplishments and plans of current Service Leadership Projects and Future SLP's. 

Making "Toys for Dogs" for the Boone County Animal Shelter which takes some of the stress out of the dogs up for adoption lives was a winter SLP for the Key Club. 

Ryle Ryle High Key Club visited the Kiwanis Club of Boone County as guests at our February 27th Evening Meeting. Three members of the 2017-2018 Leadership Team attending the meeting shared with the Kiwanis Club their activities for this year.  The Key Club has been busy with SLP's such as the Key Club Kindness Week, helping with the Breakfast With Santa event and benefiting GO Pantry, supporting the Boone County Animal Shelter with toys for the animals, and providing for other various Service Leadership Programs around the school.  Way to go Ryle Key Club! The Kiwanis Club presented President Callie with a donation check for their help in the Breakfast with Santa in December.

Ryle Key Club members again step up and help at the Boone County Kiwanis Club's "Second Annual Breakfast With Santa".  On December 2, 2017 a fundraiser for GO Pantry and the Ryle Key Club took place at the President's Inn in Burlington. So much enthusiasm and support from the Ryle High Key Club helped make this a great success.  From welcoming patrons, hosting, to serving tables, to taking pictures with Santa, Ryle Key Clubbers came together to assist the kids of Boone County.

Ryle's Key Club supported the Mary Rose Mission in Florence with a contribution from the Key Club and, as well raised food items through a food drive to help feed those in need.

 Our "Fundraiser for UNICEF" in December 2016 included a "pie in the face" for one of our favorite teachers to help raise funds.  Students "voted" on the teacher who would "receive the pie". The January 25, 2017 Key Club Meeting featured this event. All for a great cause. Supporting Kiwanis International and UNICEF

Helping out the Salvation Army on December 9 and 10th.  The Ryle Key Club was "Ringing the Bells" helping raise donations for the Salvation Army charity drive at the Kroger's in Burlington, KY.

Ryle Key Club members helped the Kiwanis Club of Boone County by assisting at the "Breakfast With Santa" in December 2016 for GoPantry, Ryle High School's Key Club and other groups the Boone County Club helps support.

Key Club Week in November 2016 gave way to members of the Ryle High Key Club promoting Key Club "awareness" to the students and faculty through emphasis on doing kind gestures for the students, staff and raising funds for UNICEF.

Members of The Ryle High Key Club also turned out early to help with a Pancake Breakfast in May of 2016.
