February 28th, 2017 - Hadley attend our Evening Meeting and share her are work with us and her vision to turn her art into gifts for those in need. Her blankets will be going to the Emergency Homeless Shelter.

March 7, 2017 - Helping support the Children's Miracle Network Hospital, we served as hosts and greeters at the I-HOP Restaurant in Florence who so graciously gave everyone coming that day a free stack of pancakes to raise money for the Children's Hospital in Cincinnati.

The NCAA Tournament had our Kiwanis Club "ready to go"! We celebrated March Madness 3-14-17 at Dave and Buster's thanks to Doug Ziegler. We cheered, shared information about our favorite teams, and as well had a meeting before all the "hoop-la".

Speaker and Kiwanian Brian Jones with St. Elizabeth Health Care Hospice told about the Equine Grief Camp, a 4-8 day camp designed for children who have experienced the death of a loved one. He said St. E's Hospice is focused on making patients comfortable while helping their families cope.

The Kiwanis Club of Boone County goes "Sideways" with their Wine Tasting Fundraiser and Food Pairing in April, 2017 at the Holiday Inn Cincinnati Airport. Over fifty backers helped us raise funds primarily for GO Pantry, Camp Corral and Kiwanis.

We welcomed Anne Sturgis, a representative of the Children's Home of Northern Kentucky, to our May 23rd Meeting. She shared the philosophies and objectives of her organization for behavioral health care and assisting neglected or abused children.

Riverview Delhi Hills Kiwanis Club members joined us in May for an Interclub Kiwanis Meeting. They shared their Rollin On The River Auto Show is coming up July 23rd.

Jake Pelfrey from Sunrise Children's Service visits Kiwanis Boone County and explains through God's help, they take care of children who need a home and care.

Kiwanis of Boone County working check in and helping sponsor military children for a week of camp at Camp Ernst thanks to Camp Corral.

The Kentucky Tennessee District Convention held in Louisville was quite a success. Over 250 Kiwanians gathered at the Marriott Hotel for three days to discuss policies, have fun and elect new delegates and have a wonderful banquet.

Lt Governor Edye Bryant attended our August 22, 2017 Kiwanis Evening Meeting at the Golden Corral Restaurant and hosted our Kiwanis "Family Feud" Contest. Thanks Edye for coming!

Meeting in Williamstown, KY for the KT Division 10. Wes, Anette and Steve attended the Kentucky Tennessee Saturday morning meeting to discuss strategy for 2017-18.

Sunrise Children's Service Jacob Pelrey receives donation from the Kiwanis Club of Boone County on 9/12/17. Always a proud moment when we can reach out and help children's organization in Northern Kentucky.

Boone County Kiwanis Club stopped by the Children's Home of Northern Kentucky's Home in Devou Park. We received a tour from Rachel Powell and Anne Sturgis. We presented them with a donation from the Club while we were there.

Coney Island was the location for the Children's Hospital's 5-K Walk Fundraiser Saturday morning the 16th of Sept. Our Rob's Kids Organization was a huge supporter of Children's Hospital and Boone County Kiwanis helped raise over $600 for the Walk and Rob's Kids support. Chris and Steve Sturgil with Sam Potter, Rob's Kids.

The Boone County Public Library's Amanda Hopper receives a donation from our Kiwanis to help fund their "Children's Lunch Program" providing interested kids who desire attending the library to read a book and participate in the library.

At our October 10th Meeting we welcomed two visitors. Cathy Colopy, Educatation Coordinator with the Dinsmore Homestead to receive a donation to the Ockerman School's Children's Day.

And President Alexa Jang Day from the Covington Kenton Kiwanis Club to share information about their upcoming Concert for a Cure Program helping the American Cancer Society.

We had our Installation Meeting Ceremony on October 24, 2017 and dinner at the Library. Lt. Governor Robbie Morris from Division 10 of KT was our host and guest speaker for the Installation of our new Leadership Team and Board Members into Kiwanis

November 4, 2017 Concert For A Cure for the American Cancer Society arranged by Kiwanis Covington Kenton County and supported by the Boone County Kiwanis Club.

Captain Malcolm Daniels, Salvation Army, shared with Kiwanis Boone County their mission over the last year of helping kids in the Covington area with fellowship, fun things such as roasting marsh mellows and the Kettle Bell Christmas Bell Ringing program for 2017.

The President's Inn witnessed our Breakfast With Santa Claus 12-2-17. Over 120 attended this fundraiser benefiting GO Pantry and the Key Club of Ryle High School

Bell Ringing for Salvation Army at the Kroger's in Burlington on 12-16-17. Club members volunteered their time to raise funds for the Kids of Northern Kentucky.
