Prerequisite: MECH 1500 Digital Fundamentals and PLCs

Course Objectives:
There are six main objectives for this course:
To analyze the structure of a microprocessor and microcontroller system.
To program a microncontroller in a mechatronic system using Assembly language.
To assemble and interconnect mechatronic systems.
To understand CNC fundamentals.
To be introduced to Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM).
To be able to build models of mechatronic components using CAD/CAM tools.
Grading Policy:
Quizes: 25% (closed book and closed notes)
Mid Term Exam: 25% (closed book and closed notes)
Lab work: 15%
Project and Homewroks 10%
Final Exam: 25% (closed book and closed notes)
Letter Grade Distribution:
90-100: A 80-89: B 70-79: C 60-69: D Less than 60: F
