EXTRA HELP:

    • At Davidson:

      • There's me! I encourage any and all students to send me emails, stop by my office, or make an appointment.

      • In the first floor of the library, in the Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL) is a Math & Science Center (MSC). This offers drop-in or by-appointment individual and small-group tutoring opportunities (for free!) to students in all areas of math and science. Click THIS LINK for more info.

    • As most of you probably know, there are many online resources available for calculus students. Sometimes it can be quite beneficial to see additional examples, or read just a slightly-different wording of a new concept, or even watch a live video of another person's lecture. The internet, however, is a very academically misleading place, and there are many incorrect and otherwise "not good" calculus "resources" out there. So, below are some of the course-wide texts and materials I have found and recommend:

    • Drexel University

    • University of Houston Calculus VIDEOS (55 in all)

    • UBC Calculus Notes (DOES NOT INCLUDE A LOT OF INTEGRATION TECHNIQUES!!!)

    • MIT--Gilbert Strang's Calculus Text and Videos (VERY CHALLENGING)
