Ingredients
1 egg lightly beaten
2 lbs ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs or corn flake crumbs
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon finely minced onion
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon dry mustard
Preparation
Thoroughly mix all ingredients
Moisten hands with water and shape mixture into three fourths inch balls
Saute a few at a time until browned in 2 tablespoons butter in heavy skillet
Transfer to baking pan
Stir one cup b?????? or cosumme into drippings in skillet, boil & stir a few min.
Pour over meat balls
Bake uncovered in moderate oven about 30 minutes until broth is absorbed
