Are you interested in natural resources and the environment? The conservation district needs your help and you can make a difference! Volunteering can give you a chance to improve your computer & office skills, conservation knowledge, and learn new technology such as GIS and GPS. For high school students interested in the conservation field, you can gain experience that will look great on your resume. We welcome retired persons, homemakers and others. We can match a person's interests and abilities with the work we have available. There are a variety of projects such as field design and layout, educational projects in the community, public relations, and a host of clerical opportunities. To be a volunteer you must be 14 years of age. If interested, please contact our office, click here!
