Community

The Jones SWCD has a goal of educating the public to the importance of preserving and enhancing our natural resources. Conservation is a group effort of our community, as a member of the Jones County community we engage with the public with various annual activities. We are always looking for new and different ways to participate in our community.

• Annual school conservation themed poster contest

• Annual High School scholarship contest

• Annual bare root tree and shrub sale

• Annual Christmas Tree Walk

• Volunteer with the NRCS Earth Team or the Jones SWCD
