HHS Science NHS Now Accepting Applicants for the SY2016-2017 Semester 2!

The Hightower High School Science National Honor Society is now accepting applications for membership for the SY2016-2017 Semester 2. To be eligible, a student must meet the following requirements:

• must have completed at least three semesters of honors-level science classes at L.V. Hightower High School;
• must have completed at least one semester of AP-level science class at L.V. Hightower High School;
• must be enrolled in at least one AP-level or IB-level science class;
• must have a minimum science GPA of 85% with no grade from any semester falling below 75%;
• must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale;
