Analysis of Standard

Standard V emphasizes the importance of understanding family matters, community and educational factors. Factors that may involve and reshape the way I may teach in order to meet students’ needs. Advocating for my future students, parents and overall community is my goal that reflects my understanding of standard V. My goal is connected to the standard and school community because we must support our school community. For instance, my experience at Brookline elementary has always being positive because the teachers, administrators and community advocate for one another. This in return gives them a strong bond.Nonetheless, UHCL has guided my understanding of advocateing for students and their family. In every course I have taken the professors model and demonstrate positive relationships with us. By modeling positive professional behavior they show us how we should shadow positive behavior within our future classroom.
