Analysis of Standard

Teaching is not just a job is a profession and it should be taking seriously. My personality, frame of mind and mood will either give a child the best day ever or ruin it completely. The same goes to the way I collaborate with parents, administrators and the teaching staff. My values, religion and beliefs might not be the same as others but I will respect and acculturate. Therefore my goal is to have ongoing professional development. There is always room for improvement. I have seen teachers that are not professional and treat parents a certain way because of a language barrier.

Therefore, I am making a commitment to demonstrate professionalism and the necessary skills needed to reflect as a teacher. Being knowledgeable of my professional responsibilities and ethics as an educator is not only important is necessary. By being knowledgeable in this area I will create a learning environment that is cohesant with education standards. As an educator I will teach and learn. In order to protect my students rights I commit to on going growth not only as an educator but as a person.
