Sequel to Black Bartlemy's Treasure. Alone on Bartlemy's Island for three empty years, and haunted by his lost Damaris, again we meet Martin Conisby when his solitude is disturbed by the landing of a handsome Spanish girl in masculine attire, and as deadly with sword or pistol as any man. The wiles of this strange "Joanna", who sings in sweet, rich tones of the evil doings of "Black Bartlemy, Bartlemy, Ho!" are indeed worthy of Delilah, and it is no surprise to discover that she is worshipped and obeyed by every pirate rogue along the main.
