2006, her debut feature Chiemi-chan to Kokkun Batcho (2005) won Best Film in the CO2 Open Competition (Osaka)
With the grant from the CO2 festival, she made her second feature German + Rain (2007), which went on to win the Grand Prix at the CO2 Open Competition
in 2008, Yokohama won the 48th Directors Guild of Japan New Directors Award (2007) for her film German + Rain (source)

her current project Actor Takuji Kameoka (俳優 亀岡拓次) is an adaptation of a novel by Akito Inui and will star Ken Yasuda in the title role. The film is scheduled for release in January 2016. The official website is: http://kametaku.com/
