YASUDA, Mana
- born in Nara; currently lives in Osaka
- worked for 10 years as a full-time office worker and homemaker, writing 1-2 screenplays a year
- started her career as a filmmaker by joining the Cinema Making CLub at Kobe University (神戸大学映画サークル) where they made 8mm comedy, drama, and suspense film
- Her first 16mm film " ALL RIGHT "(2000) , produced by Kansai TV won the Fantaland Prize (audience prize) at Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival and more prizes at 3 other festivals.
- in 2002, Yasuda quit her office job and dedicated herself full time to working as a director and screenwriter of TV dramas and feature film
- wrote the screenplay for Cat-Eyed Boy (猫目小僧, , Noboru IGUCHI, 2006), based on characters and story by Kazuo UMEZU
- has written various screenplays for the NHK
