Scripting language was LUA
One script could be run for each loading area
Scripting language was event handler driven
Events were generated from triggers and timers
Levels were blocked out in Maya by design to test game-play
Guard paths were placed in Maya

Chapter 1 (part 1)
Set between the events of MGS1 and MGS2, Snake enters the upper levels of an enemy installation in search of information regarding a rogue nation's Metal Gear Rex project.

Chapter 1 (part 2)
With an upgraded security level, Snake progresses further through the base towards his goal.
All is not as it seems though, as a mysterious informant contacts Snake warning him to be careful.

Chapter 2 (part 1)
Now in the core area of the base itself, Snake makes his way towards a control area where it will be possible to deactivate the base's security systems.

Chapter 2 (part 2)
Snake must use his surroundings to bypass a security system and escape a trap sprung by a someone who was previously thought to be an ally.

Chapter 4
