Workshop Venue
The workshop will take place at Padova.
It will be held in the “A. Rostagni” Room of the Dipartimento di Fisica e Astronomia “Galileo Galilei” (DFA), entrance from Via Paolotti (tick Venues of Workshop in the Isodays2018 Interactive Map).
The poster session of the workshop will be held in the “Students Room” of the Dipartimento di Scienze Chimiche (DiSC), in Via Marzolo n.1.
Local transportations
The city bus lines with stop near the workshop venue are: 6 - 9 - 14 - 15 - 24, and the city Tramway at the “Eremitani” stop. Please see detailed timetable at: Bus Italia Veneto.

To reach Padova
By Air
From Venice Airport there are frequent bus connections to Padova Bus/Train station about every 60 minutes. Please see timetable Line EM/E015_Z/E015V .
The ticket costs 8,50 € (10€ if bought on board) and can be bought at the ticket office located in the arrival hall or at vending machines at the bus stops; the bus stop is located outside the arrivals hall; the travel time is 1 hour and 10 minutes; get off at Padova Bus/Train station.
From Treviso Airport there are frequent bus connections to Padova Bus/Train station about every 60 minutes.

The ticket costs 4,80 € and can be bought at the ticket office located in the arrival hall. The travel time is 1 hour and 15 minutes; get off at Padova Bus/Train station.

Shuttle Service to and from Venice Airport
For participants arriving at Venice Airport, private shuttle services from the Airport to Padova hotels can be booked. The cost per transfer ranges from 31€ to 35€. The cost increases for night arrivals/departures. Reservations must be made at least 24 hrs in advance:

By Train
Padova is at the crossroad of the Venezia-Milano and Venezia-Roma railways: many trains are available. The ride lasts 30 minutes from Venice, 2 or 3 hours from Milano and 4 to 6 hours from Rome according to the kind of train selected.

Padua is connected to many Italian cities also by trains operated by Italo NTV. For information and timetables, see the NTV website https://www.italotreno.it
Once you reach the Padua Railway Station, the venue can be reached on foot in about 10-15 minutes. You can see the directions at IsoDays2018 Interactive Map (please tick/untick the Direction box on the left side of the page).
By Car
Padova can be reached by car on the A4 Milan-Venice Motorway.
For those arriving from the West, take the Padova Ovest exit. From there it is possible to reach the city center in a few minutes by taking road towards Padova and following the indications for Padova- Centro città.
For to arriving from the East, you can exit at Padova Est and follow the signs for Padova-Centro città.
For those arriving from the South, the A13 Motorway ends at the entrance to the South Ring Road which quickly leads to the different areas of the city.
WARNING: in Padua city centre there is a ZTL zone, an area in which car traffic is restricted. From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. no car traffic can enter the central streets, unless the car has a special permit allowing it. Special signs indicate the ZTL zone.
Parking
Near the workshop venue, there are two car parking:
“Padova Centro Park” - Via Trieste, 50, 35131 Padova PD
Park "Piazzale Boschetti" - Via Trieste, 43, 35131 Padova PD
From both the Parking the venue can be reached on foot in about 5-10 minutes.
