The 2014 edition of the Italian Soft Days was held in Rome at La Sapienza University on September 17 and 18, and it was locally organised by

In the first edition we got a very high response from the Italian soft community reaching about 150 participants

The prize for the best abstract submitted to Italian Soft Days was awarded to the abstract entitled "Nematics of bent molecules: unconventional properties for the molecular shape" authored by Cristina Greco (Università di Padova).
