Broken Boards at Lake Tilley Dock
I wanted to thank everyone for their help with various issues that have happened throughout our neighborhood. With that said, I also wanted to ask everyone to please be vigilant in helping ensure our neighborhood remains safe for everyone, especially our children. Some of the issues that have been brought to the HOA Board's attention are:
Kids laying in the road way in early morning hours while waiting on the bus. Please remind your children that they are extremely difficult to see if they are laying down on the edge or in the road way before daylight hours regardless of if there is a street light in the vicinity.
The speed limit in the neighborhood is 25 mph. While I do not have a calibrated eye, it is quite easy to tell when someone is significantly above that limit in our neighborhood. Please slow down and be watchful for children and pets.
There has been some gun fire in the neighborhood. While I am definitely a 2d Amendment supporter, our neighborhood is located inside the Crestview City limits and we are held to those laws..
Vandalism? - Broken Boards at Lake Tilley Dock Damaged boards on the dock at Lake Tilley Park noted by a member on June 10th. Not only does this cause a dangerous situation for anyone using the dock, it increases maintenance costs to the association. Please keep an eye out for unauthorized use and misuse of the facilities and report it. Reiterate to your family members and guests that costs for maintenance affect every member.
Feral Cats: Several neighbors have identified that we have a feral cat problem in some of the more heavily wooded sections of the neighborhood. Please do not feed them.
Voting for the ballot items is closed. Thanks to everyone that voted, the neighborhood input on these items is important.
