Haifa Fornightly(Editor--Huzefa Mehta) 23th edition 1/10/93 Hi all. The last couple of weeks were meeting a lot of people now that we are ending our relocation here. We had dinner at Uriela's place(President of the Indian women jews) and at my uncles place in Tel-Aviv(My father's sister's husband's sister's husband) Mr. Yakov Darzi and spent a lot of time roaming around Tel-Aviv. Kasmalkar(83 batch mech) was visiting Israel regarding some interesting business ventures from India and he was here in Haifa at our place for a day. We got to meet Isaac Nawgaonkar a very interesting and nice person who has setup the first ever Indian cultural house in Haifa(It is opening next month). We had an Intel DA party celebrating my departure. It was in Zikron-Yaakov at a winery in one of the winery basements. 25 shekels entry fee per person with unlimited wine and music band. After about an hour we were all dancing on the tables and we danced for about 2 hours. Israel folk dancing and very traditional music. A very good leaving Israeli experience. We will be in Santa Clara after christmas(26th december) and plans are to quit Intel and leave for school..Reena for her MS and my for my weak attempt to continue school.
