Cognitive Perspectives on Chinese Words: Language learning and teaching application 

本計畫由臺師大華研所 蕭惠貞教授主持,旨在從認知語義學的視角(一)探究華語詞彙的多義性與語義延伸,(二)分析基礎詞彙與同形異義詞彙之間的相關性(認知擴展方式)及(三)將前述兩項研究成果應用於華語文教學領域,並研究華語為第二外語學習者詞彙擴充的學習狀況。

This project adopts the perspectives on cognitive semantics (cognitive ability in language learning) and aims to: (i) investigate the characteristics of Chinese words, in particular polysemy and lexical extension; (ii) analyze the relationship between basic lexeme and homonymy (by way of cognitive extension); (iii) apply the analyzed results to teaching and explore how Chinese second language learners expand their word base.
