For prospective graduate students for master or doctor course
The mission of LET(Research Unit for Learning and Educational Technologies) is to explore how new technologies can enhance "learning and education" and to design and develop innovative learning environments. LET belongs to the Department of Social Informatics, Graduate School of Informatics at Kyoto University, Japan. Learning happens at any time and any places, e.g., not only inside school but also in workplace, home, museum, and outdoors. Our research interests includes learning analytics, educational data mining, educational data science, mobile and ubiquitous learning, seamless (formal and informal) learning, CSCL (Computer Supported Collaborative Learning), CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning), and Knowledge awareness. But our research focus is not limited here. Currently, we are engaging research on Learning Analytics, Educational Data Science/Technologies, Evidence-based Education/Learning, Mobile and Ubiquitous Learning.
In LET, you may learn the design and analysis method of intelligent systems and interface, modeling method of human activities, programming languages (Java, Python, ruby, etc.), iphone/Android interface design and programming, etc.
