5-Card Skating Drill 1. Players start in 5-card formation 2. On whistle, each position skates full speed out to his or her designated attack area, pivots, then skates backward into 5-card position 3. Sequence follows, position by position. Center covers for the corner positions until they get back, and takes the seam (attack areas 2 and 5) 4. Wingers alternate between attack positions each "lap" 5. Do 4 "laps" then switch out 5-man unit for a new one Enjoy!

2. Net Front Battle Drill:
1.) F1 passes puck to LD.
2.) F1 then fights for position in front of net to screen goalie or get a rebound.
3.) D in corner attack F1 in front on net and try to force him from area in front of net. Do not allow F1 to screen goalie or pick up a rebound.
4.) LD passes puck to RD and then RD passes back to LD.
5.) LD takes low hard shot on net.
Notes: - Can be played 1-on-1 or 2-on-2.
- Alternate sides so different defense are taking shot from point.
