Student Travel Awards

We are pleased to be able to offer a limited number of student travel awards (625 USD each) based on the generous contributions of ACM SIGIR.

The deadline for applying has passed. Decisions were sent via email on Friday August 23, 2013.

Please note that:

• Preference will be given to applicants who are primary authors and are presenting a paper, either as an oral presentation or a poster.
• You should retain all receipts associated with your travel to the symposium.
  • Checks will be issued after the workshop. Applicants should not depend on travel support to pay expenses up front.
• It is assumed that applicants have only limited travel support. Your advisor may be asked to confirm that your institution cannot offer substantial support.
