When I retired from the day to day grind, I knew I wanted to create something.  Now, I cut, shape, sand and grind wood & steel into objects of art, sometimes with function.  

I work with many varieties of wood, and often incorporate turquoise from Kingman Arizona into the nooks, cracks and crevices of the wood.  I also like working with steel.  Finding unique items at a scrap yard and incorporating them into a piece is always fun.  Combining wood and steel is also something I enjoy.   

With 300 days a year of sun, having a home and studio in Lake Havasu City offers plenty of opportunity for creativity.
