Dearen, JoAnn

My name is JoAnn Dearen, I have been painting with watercolor for the last 16 years. I enjoy Acrylics however I find watercolor very fulfilling and challenging. I also painted with oils years ago.

I started leisure classes for watercolor at MCC, with Barbara Bradley. I have always been fascinated with art and tried my hand at many different art forms.  I get lost in my art and find that, the most fascinating part of the process.  I enjoy bringing life to whatever my subject is and want to convey the beauty and excitement to the viewer.
