In 1994 I retired and moved to Lake Havasu.
I am interested in astronomy, rock hunting, jewelry making, beading and above all clay. All these interests have touched my art creations.
My paintings depict deep space objects as seen via space telescopes. I've used beautiful stones that I found as accents and attachments to my pottery. I enjoy making jewelry using wire wrap method. I've used many of my woven beads to accent my clay creations. Clay above all is my favorite medium, it grounds me to the earth and all the earth gives us.
I taught Leisure Ceramics (pottery) for 13 years at Mohave Community College MCC, Bullhead and Lake Havasu Campuses, I then taught 5 years at a local studio. I now work at my home studio but do not teach classes. I do however offer studio time when available and host workshops. My work can also be found at Havasu Art Center, downtown Lake Havasu City. Contact me for information on workshops and other clay related activities.
