The charisma and supremacy of lord Jagannath have been proved by thousands of devotees once and again.One such devotee is Biswambhar Das karan by caste and a devotee was residing with wife and a child. near Dhenkanal. Once a group of sadhus during pilgrimage reached that village and searched for a night's shelter. The villagers told about Biswambhar who was famous for his love and respect towards atithis(guests) and sadhus. The group searched for Biswambhar and told him about their stay . Biswambhar was very happy to hear it and he could arrange everything except ghee. The Sadhus did not agree to take meal without ghee. Biswambhars Son requested for sometime to arrange ghee. Finding no other way he told his father to make theft of ghee from a shop of the village for sadhus. Both went inside a side the shop of one Bhagyabanta's home. Found ghee and gave to father through sindhi. He got caught by bhagyabanta. Son told the father that he is caught by his leg. Father tried to escape but invain. As per sons request cut his head and brought ghee. Served the sadhus with ghee. Sadhus wanted to know about the son .he told all about. Sadhus called Biswambhar with the cut head and jointed. Prayed god and see the son got life.
