Thousands of devotees have preached the supremacy of lord Jagannath once and again.One such devotee is Bishnupriya , the daughter of king of jaipur. She was pious ,honest and a great devotee of jagannath. she always longed for a darshan of lord jagannath. The lord God knew it and wanted to offer her a darshan.Once it so happened that taluchha mahapatro ,the sevaka (servant) of jagannath, was on a journey to Delhi on his usual preaching tour and reached jaipur. Knowing about Bishnupriya's devotion he wrote a letter to Bishnupriya to send some offerings for the lord jagannath. She got the letter and her happy knew no bounds. Bishnupriya Could not know what to offer as she found that everything belong to God and so she decided to offer her mind to the God. She replied with a shloka keeping 10 gold coins in it. The sevak was not satisfied and opened the letter and threw it. Reaching puri the sevak found that the coins vanished. Jagannath told him in dream to make a chain with the shloka in the locket .

This is how the lord fulfills the wishes of his devotees.
