Happy Birthday Rosie Dear
Last year a little baby girl
Arrived to give this world a whirl.
A charming thing and, from the start,
She very quickly stole our heart.
We loved her then, we love her still,
We have no choice, we always will.
She makes us laugh, she makes us cry,
Sometimes we jump and punch the sky.
Not walking yet, it won’t be long,
Those sturdy little legs are strong,
And when she crawls she moves so fast,
Her helpless, sprawling days are past.
She’s beautiful and quick to smile,
Time spent with her is not a trial.
That’s why our wish for her is clear,
