¿CÓMO ES TU COMPAÑERO DE CLASE?
Objective: at the end of class students will be able to write a physical description of one of their classmates.
Level of proficiency: beginning Spanish students (second semester).
Time: 30 minutes approximately.
Materials: printed students' handout that contains the necessary activities for the lesson.
Description: students will be presented the most basic physical descriptions by the teacher without specific explanation but with gestures. Students then will be suggested to do some input processing activities in order to make sure that they understand the meaning and syntactic structure of the physical descriptions in Spanish. Finally, they will be directed into some open activities in order to be able to do physical descriptions of people they know.
