Sometimes they are Buzz posts in your flow you would prefer not see anymore for any reasons. Muting is the Google Buzz function you need to remember. It allows you to flag a post in your Buzz stream as "not wanted".
Here are the different possibilities to mute a post:
- select "Mute this post" in the post menu
- select the post (by clicking on it) and click the shortcut "m"
(the shortcut "m" only works if you have previously activated the Gmail shortcuts in the Settings)
If eventually, for any other reason, you would like to un-mute o post, you need to find it, because you can't see it naturally. To find it you can:
- search for specific keywords (in the Buzz search box)
- go to the author's profile and look for the posts
Muted posts are flagged as - Muted -. Un-mute the desired post the same way (via menu) as you've muted it.
