Kimberlys Korner History

18 Sept. 2020 - In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we moved to virtual events. We've had several so far and they seem to be working fine. This has proven to be a valuable source of networking, socializing and learning from each other.

11 Dec. 2012 - Wonderful to see 20 of us all gathering together this week! Thank you for taking time to connect and commit to collaboration. Eric Craven did a great job facilitating the the check in. Celso Alberti led us in a team rhythm exercise. Ken Yap shared useful nuggets about networking. Mitchell Levy invited us all to be gurus for Gurus4Media.com and many of you brought tasty treats to share. Thanks! See you again in Q1 2013! - Kimberly

April 20, 2011 - It was awesome to have another opportunity to explore possibilities for collaboration, and to celebrate actual collaborations that have happened since our February event. Several people reported collaborations involving paying clients. Yay! Thank you to the 12 people who attended, and to the other 12 who sent their regrets. It seems that we have a vibrant community of people committed to working together for fun and profit, and learning from each other. I look forward to another event at my home in mid-July. Naturally you are free to schedule other events independent of those held at my home. It's just that mid-July is the next reasonable break in my schedule. Onward into collaborative prosperity and enjoyment at work!

16 Feb. 2011 . . . Thank you for your determination to work through the logistics of getting the tools in place we'll need to support our collaboration! We've got most people on the wiki, and their mini-bios in place in the PEOPLE: Kollaborators section. We have a GoogleGroup set up to enable discussions and communication among the members. And we have lots of face-to-face activity among our community to explore collaboration and even practice collaboration for profit as well as mutual benefit and enjoyment. Enjoy the ride! Stay scrappy! - Kimberly

18 Dec. 2010 . . . OK, let's get this business cooking in the USA! Time to do a little transformation at home. We have lots of talented people who have been flying to Japan many times, and many others who have not worked in Japan, who can add value to companies right here at home. Let's find opportunities to work together here in the USA for fun, profit, growth, and all of the above. Let's get scrappy! - Kimberly
